Starship Girl Yamamoto Yoko is just about what you\'d expect from an anime about girls fighting in space & entertaining fluff that doesn\'t really pretend to be anything it isn\'t. There\'s one thing that separates Yamamoto Yoko from the crowd, though; A very noticeable lack of fan service. That\'s right, Yamamoto Yoko may very well be the first anime series to feature a space fighter squadron made up entirely of females that doesn\'t pander to the male audience and respects the skills and intelligence of the characters it\'s created.
