Seimaden is a fantasy story set in a world far, far away from ours, focusing on a lovely 17 year old tavern dancer by the name of Hilda Hildegard and her romance with the demon king Laures.  The world she lives in has a rather European feel of a couple of hundred years ago, where the streets are cobbled and people travel by horse and arriage. In this present time, the people live fairly peacefully, troubled only by the destructive whims of the demons whenever they appear in the human world. Hilda is a caring and feisty young woman who lives with her best friend Sherril in cheap lodgings in the small town.  She loves to dance, and helps to support herself and her sick friend by dancing in the local tavern, where she has built up quite a popularity amongst the local men.  But underneath the carefree dancing spirit she shows to the outside world, she is really a troubled soul, for she has lost her memory and cannot remember anything about herself apart from her name.  Not knowing her background bothers her very much, but still she is a cheerful and friendly person who is happy when she's dancing.
