Shaman King - Description/Synopsis
Shaman King is about a boy with a shaman power, Yoh Asakura, who wanted to become a king of shaman.

Yoh Asakura might look like a layback Junior High School kid. However, he is a shaman with a special ability to communicate with all the souls and spirits and possess them into his body! Yoh came to Funbari, Tokyo to make friends with all of the powerful ghosts and to become the best Shaman ever.

Shaman King
Shaman King is my favorite anime that I've seen so far. It has action, humor, romance, and occult. And I like how the characters have flaws because it makes them seem more human. Also, in many other anime, the main characters win every single match, but this is not so in SK, making it less predictable. After watching Shaman King in subtitled Japanese, I thought it was very good because it held my interest. I would recommend Shaman King to anyone. But if you plan on watching it, watch the Japanese version with subtitles on. I've seen the dub before and it's SO bad compared to the original. A whole bunch of humor was taken out or changed, Yoh was much nicer in the original, and almost every line of dialogue was changed, often for the worse.
