Geneshaft - Description/Synopsis
In the latter half of the 21st century, mankind has driven itself and the very earth itself to the brink of destruction through its rash actions. A choice was made to preserve the species and the world: mankind would regulate itself using genetic engineering. The ideal ratio of 1 man for every 9 women was established; this was based on the fact that males were historically more aggressive than females. This artificially balanced population, along with the elimination of love and the desire for power, has led to a stable society. It is now the middle of the 23rd century.
Now, people are artificially engineered according to the skills deemed necessary for the survival and prosperity of humanity, and each person has a specific gene type, identified by one of several colors.

Above this peaceful, stable earth floats a gigantic ring of unknown origin. It appeared when a research party on the moon of Ganymede (one of Jupiter’s moons) discovered the ruins of what appeared to be an ancient alien civilization. This ring sits above the earth, seemingly doing nothing. But in reality, it is relaying information about humanity back to an alien force.

Aboard Marcanan space station, a group of women with specific abilities is being assembled for a top-secret “s mission.” Their mission turns out to be to track down the alien observers and fight them. To do this, they are given a state-of-the-art ship, the Bilkis, and a large robot called “the shaft,” which are constructed using technology discovered at the ruins on Ganymede.

Piloting this robot is no easy task, and thus, people with specific skills are required. A team of five girls with super abilities is tasked with saving the earth from this alien threat.
