Samurai Champloo - Description/Synopsis
Mugen is a fierce animal-like warrior with a fighting style. Jin has a more traditional style but don’t think of this as a weakness because his skills are amazing. The two contrasting samurai warriors are far from friends, yet their separate paths seem to cross anyways. Mugen is wandering aimlessly through the city when he stumbles upon a teahouse where he meets Jin and Fuu (A ditzy waitress, but don‘t think she doesn‘t have anything hidden up her sleeves). Fuu convinces them both to come with her in search of a mysterious samurai that smells like sunflowers and their journey begins. This modernized hip-hop tale breaks the barriers of the common, historical, samurai anime.

Samurai Champloo kicks Major @$$!!!!
This is the best anime in the world (It's from the same guy who created Cowboy Bebop)! I mean, Watanabe is a genius! This show has more action than a boxing match! I've only seen the first three episodes, but this show is so freakin' awesome!

Mugen is the best charachter because of his rebellious additude (and he's kinda cute, even though Jin is the bishouen). Awesome dub voice (He dopes Zabuza and Orochimaru in the Naruto dub).

If you are 16+ and love anime, you should watch this...and look for references to ancient Japanese culture.

awesome anime!
Awesome fight scenes and above-average animation make this one of my favorites! The animation style is very current, which is important to my artist side, though the humor, believable characters, and captivating plot entertain the rest of me. I alternate between laughing and crying while watching this!Basically, I highly suggest it!
