As It flows, It rules.
It reigns Its power over the Land.
If You are free?
Its Majesty beckons:
“If You are free…
Nothing can imprison You.
You are Water.
The way You go is Yours to make.
“Obstacles stand,
But You are Water.
You can bend and never break.
Perseverance and endurance,
These are hardly unfamiliar to You.
“The Earth loosens beneath You,
Ancient stones break.
You are Water!
Your mark is forever left.
Your scars are the image of Beauty.”
As It flows, It rules.
It reigns Its power over the Land.
Yet We do grow?
Its Majesty beckons:
“Yet We do grow…
We move with connected Life.
We are Rivers.
The Heart of each is of the Whole.
“The Meek do stray,
But We are Rivers.
We are born, not created.
Liberated and dutiful,
We embrace these both as Our very own.
“Rich health We bring to the Land.
The path, We choose.
We are Rivers.
Life exists because of Us.
We do travel like the Hand of God.”
As It flows, It rules.
It reigns Its power over the Land.
Should We wither?
Its Majesty beckons:
“Should We wither…
Although beginnings have ends,
Life does not die.
Energy is only displaced.
“Matter decays,
But Life does not die.
In the End, We join as One.
Vitality is Our essence.
We are the Cycle—the Continuum.
“We are the Spirit, the Soul;
God's Driving Force.
Life does not die!
If Our Source should cease giving,
We reconstitute from the Vast Whole.”
You are Water,
We are Rivers,
And Life does not die.
