Set in the medieval ages, when a woman's place is in the kitchen. Well, one young girl isn't satisfied with this future and decides to take matters into her own hands. The death of her beloved father only strengthens her resolve, until Meisan strikes out with her best friend Adhow in an attempt to make her father proud...and joins the army. At first, Meisan's main motive is removing her guilt and making her father proud, but as time goes by she realizes that joining the king's army is more than just swinging around a sword. She'll enounter love, hate, romance, pain, will become a revered swordsman and a personal friend of the heir to the kingdom, and she'll even become tangled in social politicis. Will Meisan be able to stay true to herself? Will she learn what it truly means to be a warrior? Will she offer balance in a world of instability? Or will she flow back into the crowd, a single blade of grass in a streaming meadow. The choice, is soley up to her.
