Tohru Handa, a 16 year old girl who had just lost her mom in a car accident, thought her life couldn\'t get any stranger, now living in a tent, until she stumbles onto (literally) a cursed family: the Sohma family.

This is no ordinary curse! This family\'s members turn into one of the 12 animals of the chinese zodiac, plus the cat! If she thought she had it rough having to live in the woods, she was far from wrong!

The Manga and anime are very similar up until the last few episodes where the Anime diverges. The Manga continues on to introduce more characters and reveal a few more secrets.
