There are many different parts to Initial D, but we will start at the beginning-- INITIAL D: FIRST STAGE (26/1998). Takumi Fujiwara\'s true passion is racing, which he does on the Japanese mountain roads. One night, the Akagi Red Suns team, a racing club, challenges the Akina Speed Stars to a race on the mountain. Keisuke, one of the leaders of the Red Suns, races his legendary Mazda — only to be beaten by the mysterious Fujiwara. In INITIAL D: SECOND STAGE, old foes return (13Eps/1999) and loose ends are tied up in THE INITIAL D MOVIE (2001). INITIAL D: EXTRA STAGE is exactly what the title says, an extra stage focusing on female racers Mako and Sayuki.
