He is an elf most learnered, a warrior most leathel; facing those who would take that which belongs not to them. Will the seas indeed become incarnadine? Red with the blood of battle? Done in Photo Shop 7.0 from line art by Dan Hibiki this piece is over 40 layers and took several days to complete. The orginal is the November calandar page from the Mediaminer.org 2004 Artists Calandar available in the merchandise store for the site.***promotion aside I very much enjoyed the challenge of this piece. The background is from a photo which I rendered in Photo shop using diffuse, and adjusting the hue/saturation to achieve the effect i was looking for.
