Silverweeds Sonnet

This is one of my favourite scenes in the movie. And me being me i found myself in the mood to draw the other day. I was thinking about Stardriv’s daughter n how she likes it and well it compelled me to draw this. Not very original but the poem is lovely…also yes i know ‘sonnet’ is not the right term for the poem but it was a title that came to me and just couldnt be replaced.
Done in gouache. I didn’t want to spend to long on the background and chose to consentrate on Cowslip, chosing to try and give him a more realistic fur tone. And then i aded Silverweed’s poem in behind with pen. 😛 Took about 3 hours in total. Hope you like. x
