It's beauty like this that makes life worth living. Although not an artist myself, I can honestly say this is the best work of art I have ever seen on MediaMiner, and the first I have taken the time to review. Please don't take offense to the lack of ratings, but, as I stated before, I'm no artist, and I have no earthly clue as to what a medium is. However, I can say that the topic you chose was absolutely lovely. The ocean horizon is truely a magnificent feature of the earth. Good luck with the scholorship and I hope you continue to pursue your talent in art.

This is absolutely amazing. Great techical skill and imagination! And the I love the coloring. Gah, I wish I could paint half as well. Is it watercolors? or is it acrylic?

This has got to be one of the best paintings I've seen on the entire site - you really do have a formidable talent there! The composition is amazing - the figures are wonderfully dynamic. The colours used are equally imressive,I just love the 'sea spray' effect. You also have my utmost respect for being able to paint water that actually looks like water - that's no simple task, but you make it look so easy! I also have to say that the sheer level of detail here is stunning, I especially like the delicate scales of the wather elmental, and the feathers on the wings of the sky elemental. (Wings are another thing that are by definition hard to draw, and again you capture them wonderfully!) As much as I'd like to offer some helpful critique, I' afraid I just can't find any faults to pick on. Heheh, it's not my fault I'm a sucker for great art. ;)
