Well, I apologise for the low rating. Your drawing isn't bad in and of itself. It's just that it isn't an original piece, and as such is hard to score highly. See, it wouldn't be so bad, but none of your drawings are original pieces. I'm not too keen on those who copy the artwork of others, rather then drawing original peices based on those characters, and so I can't rate your work very highly since none of them came from your imagination. Your skill is dependant on how well you can mimick (which is pretty well from what I can gather....), and your use of medium ie. your pencils and colored pencils is shoddy at best. You color as if you are a child, inconsistantly and irratically. Your coloring should all flow in the same direction, rather then changing directions so often, creating blotches all over the piece. It makes the piece look sloppy. I'd like to see you do an original. I'd like to see if you are actually talented, or if you are merely good at mimicking the artwork of others. Till then you get a four from me, and nothing more.

Well, since you said you wanted one review... Firstly, you could've followed the style used in Saiyuki anime/manga so it'll look more like Kougaiji. Or you could try realism. Or at least, if you want to use your own style, you could've drawn the hair the way it was like originally. Also, the hair doesn't totally cover the right eye, so you could've drawn both eyes. If you can't draw two eyes symmetrically, then you just need more practice. The colouring is not smooth at all. Try using watercolours/watercolour pencils/cging/paints next time. Although the light comes obviously from Kou's left, the right side of the face looks lighter despite the shading of the nose. The shadow of the hair is cast in the wrong way and the hair and shoulders are the same shade. You should try to do some blending, esp with the collarbones. Lastly, there is worse art on mm.org (although of course there are way better pieces) but I reviewed yours coz you asked...I hope you don't feel discouraged or anything.
