Artist's Commentary
So... a long time ago... like maybe a year, I did a picture of Umi and Guru Clef for someone as a request. I like Ascot better, so I did a different one with these two. The bg is from the castle entrance in Rayearth 2 (the bg doesn't matter anyways!). Sadly, I was holding my ruler sideways and messed up the floor. Maybe I should have made the tiles look smaller... tho in my mind, each slab of marble (or whatever) is huge... like 1/4 size of a football field... The pattern on Umi's special heaband was taken from the cover (or back cover?) of the mangas... The viney things! YAY! Ja ne! |
