Artist's Commentary
A quick drawing of Kurama, originally done on notebook paper and then traced and colored. I think it turned out pretty well. I was experimenting with chibi-style eyes at the time, so that's why his eyes look so girly. Anyway, I hope you appreciate my work. It's supposed to be his outfit from the second movie...but I hadn't seen the second movie in a while, so it resembles more of a patterned version of his Dark Tournament garb. And I also didn't realize that the pattern on his outfit in the second movie is a phoenix, so I just did flames. Oops. Oh well, it still turned out nicely. And yes, I did study screencaps to learn how to draw his hair correctly. |
