Artist's Commentary
And this is Al (Alexandria Matsuko Valdez Tanaka), the secondary character for "Nikanru". If she looks moody and unapproachable…good, that's what I was going for. She's nice and happy alone underneath that tree, and she doesn't want you annoying her. I fear, though, some may misinterpret the stink eye she's giving here for a seductive glare. They're pretty close. |
