Four Seasons of BLAST by sogi

This is my submission for the Four Seasons Fanart Contest. I picked out the band BLAST (Black Stones) from Yazawa Ai's NANA manga because each their personalities are like the different seasons. Shinichi is aloof & cool; Nobu is lighthearted; Nana is bold and hot; Yasu is calm. I tried to use lots of Vivienne Westwood fashion, like Yazawa does in the manga. In this case, I put Shin is clothing from her "ANGLOMANIA" winter line, Nobu in her summer "MAN" line, Nana in a vintage Westwood summer, and Yasu in the "MAN" fall line. I also used VW accessories like Shin's lighter and Nana's bracelets. I used my touchpad & mouse to outline and Photoshop to color; I read a photoshop CG tutorial on a fansite and it helped me a LOT on getting the outline to work out with the shading. Originally, Shin, Yasu, and Nana-Nobu are different images, all colored at different times. Please feel free to review. Thanks for viewing :] |
