Artist's Commentary
Hisoka came from a crack-pot idea that my friend and I had at 2am: what about life-size anime characters for our room doors? Thus Hisoka was born. He is about 1.5m tall and his ellbows span ca. 80cm. He was done with black Edding and water colors. He was a lot of work, but I managed to complete him in two settings: 8h for pencil drawing, felt tip outline, coloring everything except shoes, socks, and hair. The next day, I finished him and cut him out. That took another 3h. |
