I'm sorry it took so long to get this out but some jackass (who I won't reveal) gave me a total bullshit review. I can't help it if my computer didn't do the search correctly. Since I had just signed on mm.org I hadn't searched through everyting yet. I'm sorry if this chapter sucks but I can't write when I'm mad.
The next day was complete and utter Hell for Gohan and Videl. Somehow it had gotten out that Videl was going over Gohan's house. Sharpner, having just heard the rumor, stormed out to kick(or at least try to kick) Gohan's ass.
"Videl what are you doing hanging around with this nerd?!?!?!?!?" He yelled trying to grab her arm but another caught him by the throat and lifted him a foot into the air as Sharpner looked down into the cold eyes of a pissed off Son Gohan.
"Don't you ever touch her again, got it?" Gohan said in a low dangerous voice that had Sharpner about ready to piss his pants. Once Sharpner had passed out Gohan, none to gently, threw him into the lockers.
"Remind me never to get on your bad side." Videl said jokingly.
"I don't know what happened. The minute I saw him grab you something inside me snapped."
"Well thanks but I could have taken Sharpner pretty easy." Videl said shrugging while Gohan just blushed and scratched the back of his head.
She led him down the hallway and outside where she calmly sat down beside him on the grass.
"So tell the story."
So for the next three hours Gohan had told her evrything from when his dad first came to Earth till right after the Cell Games.
"That's it."
"I can't believe my dad took the credit for beating Cell when Cell beat him with one move."
"It was for the best."
"Why?"
"Well my dad had died because of me so it's might fault Goten grew up fatherless."
"Sorry I didn't know someone had been through more than me."
"It's alright."
"So my best friend is an alien?"
"Yes."
"Why didn't you tell me sooner?"
"I had to know I could trust you first and if I had told you the truth you would have probably never spoken to me again."
"You can't help who your parents are. Dende knows I can't."
"Don't worry about it. Hey we better get going. I promised my mom that I'd be home by six so we're already two hours late."
As Videl was reaching into her back pocket for a capsule Gohan stopped her and aid "I have a better idea." With that he pressed two fingers to his forehead and they vanished.
A few seconds later the two teens appeared in front of the Son household. Immediately Gohan's hearing picked up the familar sounds of screams and thuds. As if on cue Goten ran out and hugged his brother's leg.
"Be careful Gohan, mom has the frying pan out because you were late." Goten said shooting nervous glances at the door.
"GOHAN!!! WHERE HAVE Y--" ChiChi stopped ranting the instant she saw Videl standing beside Gohan.
"Hello. My name is Videl. Pleased to meet you." Videl said walking up to ChiChi and shaking her hand.
"No the pleasure is all mine. Gohan has told me all about you." ChiChi said returning the shake.
They all walked back inside the Son home. 'It's a lot smaller than my house but more inviting and cozy.' Videl thought
"Since it's so late how about I start dinner?"
"Do you need some help ChiChi?"
"No that's fine. Besides you're our guest why don't you go outside and watch the boys train?"
"Okay." She said heading out the door. 'Videl is such a nice girl. She'll make the perfect wife for Gohan and from what I've heard she won't have any trouble keeping him in line.'
Videl walked outside and was amazed at the show she was awarded with. Gohan and Goten had both already gone super and Goten was now trying to land a hit on his brother.
"Kame..."
"Ma..."
"Kame..."
"Sen..."
"HHAAAA!!!"
"KO!!!!"
The two ki blasts met each other in midair but because of Gohan's experience he sent Goten sprawling but not for long. Goten was soon back up and trying to hit Gohan with his fist when his older brother took to the air to escape a left hook.
"That's no fair Gohan! You have to stay on the ground because I haven't learned how to fly!" Goten yelled at his brother.
"Easy tiger look how about I teach you and Videl at the same time?"
"Wow! I'M GONNA FLY! I'M GONNA FLY! I'M GONNA FLY!" Goten cheered running around in circles. (AN: Ican't imagine Goten hearing this and not saying those lines.)
"Gohan your brother is really cute."
"Thanks it's all part of the Son charm."
"Well let's get started shall we." Gohan said trying to think of a way to explain the whole flying process.
"Are you okay Gohan?" Videl asked breaking his train of thought.
"Yeah, I'm just tryng to figure out a way to explain this."
After a few more moments Goten broke the silence. "When are we actually gonna start flying niichan?"
"Goten why don't you go play for a while?"
"Why?"
"I need to show Videl how to use her ki."
"What's ki?" Videl asked adopting a confused look.
"This." Goten stated simply before firing a small blast into a mountain completely demolishing it.
"Yeah, it's like that." Gohan said when he noticed Videl eyes were bugging out and her mouth formed a soft 'Oh.'
Once she had regained her composure she asked him "So I can't fly if I don't have ki?"
"No every living thing has it inside of them. you just have to find it." He explained smiling warmly at her.
"Well then lets learn this thing!" She shouted.
"Okay now reach into the pit of your stomach and find the power inside you like the center of your body."
Videl struggling for about half a minute when sudddenly she found it. It was like a hidden bank of her power.
"Wow there was a lot of power there."
"Well know that you have found it all you hav to do is push it up and it'll keep you airborne."
"How?"
"Here I'll show you slowly that way you can watch me better." He said cupping his hands.
Videl moved up closer to him so she could see excatly what he was doing. Slowly a small ball of light appeared in his hands.
"Is it real?"
"Of course, we're not trying to trick anybody."
He held it for about another ten seconds before letting his energy slide back into him.
"Here goes nothing." Videl said as she started to mimic Gohan movemants. Gohan felt her ki starting to rise as a faint purple glow begn to make itself known in her hands. The effort however had worn Videl out and she nearly collapsed from the stress.
"You did it! Now what do you say we find Goten and go get some lunch." Gohan suggested
"But he could be anywhere on the mountain. It would take hours to find him."
"No it won't. See we you can finally comtrol your ki you can sense others if their power level is high enough?"
"What's your power level?"
"My max in SSJ2 is 140,000,000 but since my power changes with my emotions it can become a lot higher when I'm angry."
"What about Goten?"
"90,000,000"
"Your mom?"
"That's a tough one but I think her max is 240."
"Mine?"
"You are around 350."
"So you can sense where he is?"
"Yeah just give me a second." He said before closing his eyes. Finally he sensed Gotn's ki as well as two others, one was a bit higher than Goten's and the other was much lower 'So Trunks and Goten are playing with Icarus.
"So Icarus is back."
"Who's Icarus?"
"Videl did you know I have a pet hidden out in the woods."
"Why is he hidden?" Videl asked started to get a little worried. "He isn't dangerous is he?"
"Hiyaa Dragon? Nah he wouldn't harm anyone or thing except he sometimes breaths fire in his sleep."
"A dragon?"
"Come on." He said putting a hand to her arm and vanished using Instant Transmission.
They reappeared in a small clearing. Standing out the ground was a tall green man where a cape and turban and beside him a large purple dragon stood watching the sparring match above.
"Hey Piccolo." Gohan said trying to get his sensei's attention.
Icarus turned towards Gohan and licked his face.
"Nice to see you too Icarus." Gohan said laughing.
"Are you going to introduce us?" Piccolo asked motioning toward Videl.
"Oh, Piccolo this is my friend Videl and Videl this is the one who originally taught me martial arts Piccolo."
"Why is he green Gohan?"
"He is a Namek."
"Are Nameks aliens too."
"Yes. There are only two on the planet though, Piccolo and Dende God of the Earth."
"You know God??? "Videl asked her eyes wide and mouth hanging open.
"Yeah he's an old friend of mine."
"You never cease to amaze me Son Gohan."
"HEY GOHAN!!!" Two pinted sized demi-saiyans.
"Who are you?" Videl asked a young boy with lavender hair and blue eyes.
"Videl this is my best friend Trunks and this is niichan's gorlfriend Videl." Goten blurted out before Gohan could stop him.
"Hey Trunks are you staying for dinner?" Gohan asked.
"Yep."
"Maybe you can learn to fly along with Goten and Videl."
"Nah I already know how to fly. My dad taught me a while back."
"Your dad can fly?"
"Vegeta's his dad." Gohan whispered in her ear,
"Oh."
"Well how about you Piccolo?"
"No. I need to stop by the lookout."
"Okay."
The silence was finally broken when the saiyans heard ChiChi call "DINNER!!!"
"Let's go." Goten cheered as he and Goten sped of in the direction of the Son household.
"Shall I give you a ride milady."
"Why thank you?"
Gohan wrapped an arm around her waist as he toohk the air. A minute later, they landed in Gohan's front yard to find ChiChi arguing with none other than Hercule himself.
Don't you just hate me. I hate cliffhangers too but sometimes they're necessary.
