Honor, Pride and Love; a Sayians Quest

Super Girl

Part 3: the dance to end all dances.

Bulma was in the process of placing on her shoes when a knock was herd at her door. She spun around and opened it and saw Yamcha smiling in his suit. "déjà vu!" he replied looking at her. "I didn't have time to buy a new one." she said turning a bit around. "You look great though." She smiled warmly. "Have you seen my family tonight" she asked. "Yeah, I seen them at the gate. I think the party already began Bulma." She looked at her watch which read 7:35. "Oh Shit let's go!"

She walked to the Banquet hall which was already full and everyone turned to her. "Late Miss Briefs?" asked the king chuckling. Everyone laughed a bit. The king stood up and pulled out an empty chair and she walked up to the main table with Yamcha fallowing. "And who is your guest Miss. Briefs?" he asked. "This is Yamcha my date." she said sitting down catty-corner from the king. Yamcha sat next to her and looked at his hand. A grumbled was herd across from her and she looked up to see a shaven, hair cut Vejita across from her glaring at her.

After the meal the band began and Bulma was about to dance but was knocked over by a strong force. Looking up she saw Goku scared out of his mind. "Goku?" she asked a bit shocked. "Bulma, Help some weird girl that wants to marry me is touching my tail!" he said hugging her. "Stand up Goku, your embarrassing me." she said he stood up allowing her to do so as well. "Are you alright Bulma?" asked Yamcha. She nodded. "Goku, just tell her you can't get married because your too young and that your not here to dance." she said winking at him. He smiled goofy and ran off.

She turned to Yamcha and asked one thing, "care to dance?"

Prince Vejita was asked to dance every two second by almost any single female. "Would you?", "NO!" he didn't like this attention from females one bit. He did though catch himself watching the purple haired sayain dance with Yamcha. He growled a bit, not knowing why he did not like the man he never meet.

"Bulma, can I tell you something with out you getting mad?" He asked spinning her around in his arms again. "Sure." she said land ding back in his embrace as they danced. "You promise not to get mad, right?" she nodded as she felt the music spin around the room. "Well, as you know we did break up when your service term began right?" she nodded looking up at him. "Well my father betrothed me in that time ." she looked up shocked. "And I did kind of agree and I am going to be married soon Bulma. She backed up a bit out of his arms, this caught Vejita's attention. She picked up the bottom of her dress and ran out of the ball room.

She fumbled to her room and dropped her purse looking for her keys. She looked on the ground for them and noticed two white, golden tipped boots next to the keys. She grabbed them quickly and stood up expecting to see the King. "Pr… Prince Vejita." she slummed out. He held out his hand for her to take to help her up. "I'm sorry if I wrecked your party." she said bowing. "Knock that off, we both know you could care less about my title." She smirked somewhat.

"Well thank you, but I am going to go to my chambers for the night. "Oh are you?" he asked a bit giving her only two inches between him and the wall. "I'm not having a good night your majesty." she said trying to turn the knob to get away from him. "I already made an ass out of myself and found out the one person who I ever loved is getting married to someone he has never met before. Good Night!" she said falling into her room to slam the door in his face. Panting she leaned against the door. "What just happened?"
