“Why do people treat me they way they do?”
“Because, they don't understand…”

The words that Senri shouted reached the woman's ears as she whipped her head and glanced weirdly over to him, but knowing that she would get into big trouble if she stopped the show, she continued on. She flipped back her hair, and arched her back, it wasn't hard to tell that she was an expert at what she was doing. Tips flew up at her, as she smiled darkly and to the men who did that, she showed them a “little more” skin. They all yelled, and screamed. The words they said were like ecstasy to her ears.
“You're so beautiful! So sexy!” They all yelled. She wanted to giggle with joy as the dance ended and she walked effortlessly to the back, but abruptly came out of a side door to greet her boss.
“Aren't I wonderful Chaska? She laughed as she picked up a table ornament and twirled it swiftly in her slim fingers. Her Manager gave her a large, dirty smile.
“Of course Angel, If I didn't have your natural beauty we'd be run in.” He chuckled. She gave a sassy look over to Senri and smiled. “This is our star of the show. Miss Angel. Since you saved what was so precious to me, why don't you get to know her a little better.” He winked at him and nudged. Angel rolled her eyes.
Angrily, Senri got up, which managed to knock his chair over, and he stormed out of the area. His eyebrows scrunched together and his teeth clenched. Angel quickly followed him out, only because of the curiosity.
“Look, my manager is stupid; he didn't mean anything by that. Besides, I'm not the one to fuck people,” she said, a small slur entered her voice. She placed a hand on Senri's shoulder, but he threw it off. He turned to her, with a vision of hatred on his face.
“You've Changed Crystal, for the worse...” he growled.
“Okay I have no clue who the hell you are, but you do not call me by that deceitful name, nor do you know me at all!” She stopped in her tracked and yelled angrily at him. Senri looked over at her, his giving off a little more expression of sadness than anger.
“Anyways, how do you know my real name, I haven't used it since I was five or six years old.” She kicked the ground in frustration, her voice calming down.” Senri stepped closer to her, and reviled his marking that he had gotten when he became an +anima. Angel looked up at him in confusion. And he pointed to her mark as well.
“You're an +anima…so what does that mean?” She looked at him like he was crazy.
“You don't remember, do you? It's me, Senri…” Senri asked. He looked down to the ground. Maybe this was the wrong girl, he thought.
“No, I don't know anyone by that name.” Her voice was soft as she peered her mind. “Besides, I blocked out all of my memories of when I used that name for my own good. I hope you understand, but everything that was me back then is dead.” Her voice got louder again, as she spoke with pride. She turned around and walked back the the establishment that she was so fond of. “Now, I have another show, so I guess I will see you around…uh, Senri, right?” She smirked and walked back in. The door swung violently. Senri just stood there in shock. He couldn't believe what had just happened. Was she that mad at me that she pretended not to remember? Could she have really forgotten me? He heard his friends in the distance. He turned his ever so slightly to them, but remained quiet.
“Hey Senri! How was the show?” Cooro asked excitedly.
“We saved you some food.” Nana giggled.
“Yeah, how was the show?” Husky asked in his usual tone. All of their faces were filled with happiness. The sun was beginning to lower down into the horizon, making the temperature drop a little bit, though it was still uncomfortably warm out.
“There's a natural ravine not to far from here, one of the locals told me that,” Nana smiled as if she knew everything. “Why don't we all go near it, it should be cooler there because of the water.”
“Yeah, and Husky can catch us fish too eat!” Cooro shouted, he jumped up into the air with glee. But was quickly smacked with the “Cooro smacking stick” He whined again from the pain that was brought with it and hid his head.
“We just ate, stop thinking about food all the time.” Husky snapped.
“Hey Senri, you're more quiet than usual, did something bad happen while you were at your show?” Nana tugged on Senri's sleeve and he comforted her with a fake smile. They all slowly made their way to the shore of the ravine. The heat makes everyone move slower than they really should.

“Boss, I'm tired, I'm going to bed for the night,” Angel smirked. She threw a small wad of cash onto the table and continued to walk away.
“You can't do that!” He yelled angrily, “You still have another show tonight.” He got up and reached for her, but she smacked his hand away violently. Her eyes narrowed into a glare.
“You can not tell me what to do, you said it yourself, if it wasn't for me you would have been shut down a long time ago; I think you can replace me for one night.” She walked out and slammed the door behind her. “No one will ever tell me what to do.” She said to herself. People gawked in the streets, happy to be able to catch a glimpse of the angel that had saved their small town. Men would get slapped by their wives because they'd be staring for way too long. She laughed to herself about this. Walking along, the wind began to pick up, which was very unusual for this town. The wind blew her long, blonde hair in different directions. She sped up her pace until she entered a small, well built home that was made from crème colored bricks. There was not one window in the tiny place, so it was naturally dark in there.
She lit one small candle, the light didn't do much, but it was enough to light up a small circle area. She sat down next to a pillow and blanket and began to speak to herself, “Who was that man? How did he know my first name? I don't understand anything. I'm dead to my village, everyone thinks I'm dead. That's why I'm here, and not there. I would have died if Chaska never found me. This is all so confusing.” She muttered to herself as she became ever closer to falling asleep. Her eyelids grew heavy as she pulled a blanket to her head, but she forgot to blow out the candle before she was finally in an alternate universe.

“Senri, Guess what, I snuck back here!” A small voice giggled. It was a child about five in age.
“You have to be careful, I don't want anyone to hurt you.” A little boy bonked her on the head playfully, but tears formed in her eyes anyways.
“I'm sorry, I couldn't help it, it happened again, and this time something horrible happened.” The girlcried loudly. Her knees gave out and she dropped to the ground. The wind was heavy, blowing their hair around like mad.
“Don't cry Crystal, what happened?” He put his hand down to try and help her but she pushed it away.
“Don't touch me! I'm Hideous Senri.” She hiccupped between the words because the crying that was taking place was so hard.
“Did they hurt you again?” He angrily said, hugging her. She tried to struggle but he was too strong.
“I, I killed my mommy, I didn't mean too, but something weird happened and-“ She grasped for air, and looked up at him, her eyes had changed color, they were golden with a slit in it, her ears took the form of a cats, her nails became sharp, and dagger like, and a thin, agile tail peeked up. Senri only smiled.
“You're still pretty.” He ruffled her hair and smiled.
“They're going to kill me!” She shouted.

Angel awoke in fright of a blaze all around her, she knocked the candle over in her. She didn't realize, but while she was asleep the had knocked the candle over onto the ground, which caught fire to her blanket. All around her, all she could see was blaze. She screamed in horror. She knew she was done for this time.
