Balmung/Reki/Yahiko (OC/F)

CHAPTER ONE:ROLE PLAY

The World. A Massive Multi-player Online Role Playing Game, or MMORPG. This game has over five million people playing it all over the world. It was origionaly only in Japan, but like almost all things, it became a hit everywhere else.

This story is about Balmung the CC Coporation Administrator, Reki the CC Moderator, and one player, named Yahiko, who risked their lives vitually and IRL (in real life) all for the benifit of The World.

"I like your pants around your feet, and I like the dirt that's on your knees, and I like the way you still say "please" while you're looking up at me, you're like my favorite damn disease..." Yahiko sang Knickleback to herself in the mirroer. It'd been a long Friday, but it was slowly getting better. 'Only an hour 'til I can go online! Score!'

Yahiko pulled out her homework and quickly did it, not wanting to wait 'til the last minute and possibly "forgetting' about it.

"18x24...nani no sensai?! What's is she THINKING?!, and hse told us not to use a calculator...whatever..." She huridly did her 24 math problems and the her three science ones. "Done! What time is it...?"

Walking over to her computer she jumped for joy and hurridly got on the internet. "I get ot see Balmung-san today! Maybe Reki will finally awknoledge the fact that I exist..." She sighed once again and put on her head set, all ready to enter "he World". 'Damn...Balmung said Reki was my friend...Reki doesn't even know about me...'

Yahiko typed in her user password and was quickly administered into "The World" as, "Riku, the Wavemaster". "Now all I have to do is find Balmung and eventually Reki, adn then I suppose everything will be okay..." She sighed, finding those two would be hard, considering Balmung had a habit of "ghosting" as he put it...meaning, he was on, but nobody knew it.

"C'mon Balmung...bugger..." She typed a letter to him in hopes that he would get it quickly. A small 'ding' was heard as she got the flashmail reply.

Reki and I will be on the Mac Anu server...of course, if you don't want to come, I'm sure Reki would understand...See you soon.

"That son ova...Mac Anu, eh? Alright!" She hurrirly ran to the chaos gate and typed in the keywords to log into the Mac Anu server from her Carmina Gadelica one. "If Balmung was lying about..Oh! Hi, Reki!"

Yahiko bowed quickly, effectivily hiding her blush. Once she was up right, Reki smiled slightly and bowed back. "I told you." Yahiko looked at Balmung and stuck out her tongue pulling down her eye. "Fudge you, BalDUNG! You say alot about Reki!"

"Me? Why would you two talk about me??" Balmung smiled and opened his mouth when allova sudden, "SILENCE WAVE!!" was shouted by Yahiko, who was blushing fearcly. "Don' even go der Balmung! I'll tell him your secret too..."

Balmung used an item and he could speak again. "Reki, little Yahiko here is in love with you. Now, don't take this in the wrong way, but I think you two would be perfect for each other".

The spellcastor stared at the girl. "Is that true, Riku...Yahiko?" "H...hai...Reki-sama..." The boy took her hand and smiled. "I am very flatured, and I do like you, but right now, my heart belongs to Balmung...I am sorry..."

The girl nodded, holding back her tears as this fact set in. "I understand...thank you, Reki..." The CC moderator pulled her into a hug and kissed her cheek. "Do not worry, little one...Everything will be fine..."

(A/N:I dunno how old Reki is, but since Yahiko is around 14, Reki is in his late teens...around 19 or so...yea...)

The spellcastor released her and smiled. The girl returned the smile and then looked at Balmung. "Baly, if you're with Reki...why did you keep trying to make me tell him that I cared...?" "Ahh, simple logic, "little one". You see, what Reki said is true, his heart does belong to me, but I know he'd like to share it with you as well..."

Yahiko smiled. "He'd never leave you,Balmung." "Nor do I wan't him to. What I mean is...nevermind, you'll understand when you're older." He turned and began heading towards the bridge. She stared after him. "When I'm...BALMUNG!!!!"

Reki began to chuckle as he grabbed her hand and tugged her towards where Balmung had gone. "I'm not a child, Reki." "I know, and so does Balmung. He's right thou, you will understand when you are older. Give it time." He squeezed her hand qently before dropping it and grinning. "Just think of it this way...remember that reanactment I told you about? The one with the river and the princess?" "Hai..." "He won, but only because of his nivete. He wasn't the one on stage saying, "And that's it! C'mon! Clap dammit!"

Yahiko began laughing lightly and nodded. "Okay, Reki. I understand." The male raised an eyebrow. "Do you now? Please, enlightend me." "Reki, don' use big words this is me we're talkin' to.

Reki laughed. "Please, tell me what it is that you understand." "Oh. Well, I think, think mind you, that Balmung likes me, and you, so, he's hinting at the fact that all three of us should get together. Am I close?"

The boy blinked his beauitiful green eyes and then smiled. "Damn girl, you are smarter then Balmung and I give you credit for." The orange clad wavemaster blinked her pale purple eyes as she brushed a strand of light blue hair from her eyes. "What are you talking about, Reki-chan...are you hiding something from me?"

"Of course not. Now, let's go tell Balmung your little revelation." "Hai, hai...I still think you're hiding something Reki..." The male spellcastor mearly grinned and headed towards where Balmung stood on the bridge, Yahiko running after him. "Balmung, she's figured it out."

"How much help did you provide then, Reki?" Reki scoffed. "I'm insulted to think that you would even suggest that I in someway made this easier for our dear litte friend." "Uhmm...guys...I'm still here you know...stop acting like I've gone..." The spellcastor ran a hand threw his hair as Balmung turned to Yahiko.

"So, young one, what is this that you have figured out?" The little girl looked thoughtful for a moment before saying, "Well, Balmy, I think that you like Reki and I, so you were implying that we all get together. Am I close?"

"Reki, are you sure you didn't help her?" "I'm not as stupid as y'all think...thank you much!" She pouted as Reki took her hand and smiled at her. "Well, I guess now that you know, there is not much else to do."

"What'dya mean?" Reki smiled then glanced at Balmung who mearly nodded. "What he means, love, is that you can never get away from us now...you are stuck with us." "Oh no!! What ever shall I do?! Please! Help me, oh, help me!" She mock cried out as the two laughed.

"Ah, another funny one...Reki, this one really is your type." "Hah hah. I know, but she's rather young...Yahi', you're only 14 are you not?" "Hai...Balmung, you're 21, ne? Reki is 19 I believe..." "Yes, which would make us dating you illegal..especially if we "play" together."

The gril giggled. "What? Please tell me you're innocent...you couldn't possibly know what that meant." "I knew all right...and I have one thing for you, green jello." (A/N:This is really an inside joke, so if my friend read this, I'm sure I've told them the whole green jello bit, they will uinderstand this. Ask in your reviews and I may tell you...and please, leave your eamil...going to ff.net to check my reviews is a pain and for some ra forsaken reason yahoo never works, so please, leave your email in your review! "Oh no...Now what do we do Balmung? We can't even abreviate, she'll know." "That is a good thing, Reki. Think about it, we won't have to "play" nice becuase she KNOWS." Reki thought about this for a moment as Yahiko tugged on his sleeve. "Why do I get the feeling that this is gonna lead to another fun off-line meeting where Balmung gets us all in trouble again?"

"That was entirely a coincidence! Besides, it was Reki's fault, not mine." "My fault?! You're the one who had the idea!! I only went along with it!" "Whatever! Jeeze guys! And I thought I was bitchy and irritable! Please, calm down and lets play!" Reki raised an eyebrow. "Play?" "Yea, in the world, duh! That IS why we come on isn't it?"

Balmung began to laugh as Reki flushed deeply. "Well, yes...but after this conversation...oh nevermind....So, what shall we do?" "It's too late to do a dungeon adventure...as much as I love getting the crap beat out of me, it's also around 10 pm and if I know this correctly, you young lady should be in bed."

"Awww!!! It's not that late is it? I only just got on! And besides, it's Friday!! I can stay online 'til eleven!" She pouted as Balmung chuckled and Reki rolled his eyes as he said, "You are the little spoiled one, aren't you?" "Of course! I'm the baby in my family! Oniichan is 24 and oniisan is 18, that makes me the younget."

Balmung grinned. "How about this? Tomorrow is Saturday. Reki and I have the day off from the CC so, why don't we all get together and hang out? Reki will pick you up around 10 am in front of your house and then we can all meet up at the mall."

Yahiko pouted. "I'm broke Bakmung..." "Ah, don't worry. Me and Reki earn enough so we'd be happy to share. We can have lunch, hang out, have dinner, then go to a movie and still have you home by 10:30pm tomorrow night."
