Ah My Goddess Fan Fiction ❯ Heaven on Earth ❯ Prelude ( Prologue )

[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]

Oh my Goddess and all its related characters are the property of Kosuke Fujishima. I swear I'm not making any money or any other profit out of this fan work of fiction.

Any similarity with any real events, and living or dead persons is sheer coincidence.

No one under the age of 18 should be reading this. Is that understood? Okay? Fine.

Prelude:

He stood there, waiting patiently, hands in his pockets, whistling as the breeze toyed around with his short black hair.

He looked up at the clear sky, and his mind wandered back to that fateful day, the one that had changed his life forever. It seemed like it had been just yesterday, and yet, it had been, what, two years, since then?

He sighed deeply to himself. “Girls…” he couldn't help but smile, and shake his head. “Can't live with them… and can't live without them, can I?”.

The young man raised his gaze again, and continued waiting in silence, the wind whooshing around him and the old temple that stood behind him. As if singing a sad lullaby to the short, ordinary human under the blue dome of the sunny skies.

It was a beautiful Sunday morning, just like that one. The morning he was practically born again, brought to a whole new life.

The morning he died.

End of Prelude.
