Chapter 1:- An Ancient Evil (Part 1)
Note: This fic series is mainly an Oh My Goddess/Warhammer 40K crossover but I added elements of Final Fantasy 10 cause I have a lack of imagination of thinking up fiends.
When the moon turns red for the third night; an emperor's chosen will turn against the emperor, the gates of the heavens will shudder as the closed eye of terror opens and uleashes terror upon the galaxy......
Inner sanctum of Yggdrasil
"Zidane, God first class license unlimited, Domain: war, means of transport: Portals" Yggdrasil spoke
In the gardens outside Yggdrasil.
"Sure is a beautiful day" Rind said as she looked up into the sky
"Not as beautiful as you" Zidane smirked
Rind blushed at her fiancé
"It was kind for your parents to offer to sort out the catering for our wedding, I could of asked my father to sort it out" Zidane said
"I couldn't do that, your father is the almighty. By the way what are your sisters doing?" Rind asked
"Belldandy's baking the cake, Skuld's making something and I don't even want to know what Urd's doing" Zidane smiled
"You made me so happy when you asked me to marry you" Rind smiled
"Your'e the only one that I want to spend eternity and raise a family with" Zidane said.
Suddemly Rind's angels Coolmint and Spearmint appeared and hugged him,Zidane got embarrassed
An hour later at the temple on earth
Urd was a bit upset that her show the first episode of the new series of "the storms of winter" had been cancelled because of a extended baseball match (everyone justs hates it when something prospones one of your favorite TV shows), she was in the living room playing GTA Vice city on Keiichi's PS2. Skuld had grown out of the keeping-Keiichi-getting-too-close-to-Belldandy phase finally accepted that they (Keiichi and Belldandy) were ment to be together, mainly because the almighty told her not to interfere and adding that Belldandy now has a indefinate stay on earth. Skuld was on her many inventing projects, she had Banpei help her haul a door size piece of chrome metal through the temple.
"Banpei could you get that metal pole from outside for me please" Skuld asked
Banpei bleeped and walked towards the door, suddenly portal like door opened.
"Whoa!" Skuld said staggering back
"There was no need to shout!" A voice called out from the glow as a figure emerged
Skuld's eyes widened when she saw who it was
"Brother!!!!" Skuld said running upto him and hugging him.
"Alright Skuld enough of that" Zidane said
Belldandy who was still in the kitchen heard all of the commotion walked towards the door of the kitchen.
"Skuld, whats all that noise?" Belldandy asked looking around the corner "Oh my goodness! Zidane!" Belldandy smiled
Belldandy also hugged her brother, Zidane whinced.
"Hi sis, gee whats that nasty smell, is Urd making her potions again?" Zidane asked
"Yep" Skuld sighed
"I HEARD THAT!" Urd called out as she came out of her 'lab'
"Hi Urd" Zidane smirked "Made anyone have anyside effects from one of your potions yet?" Zidane continued
"HEY!!!!" Urd yelled throwing a softball at Zidane hitting him directly on his forehead
Belldany introduced Zidane to Keiichi, Zidane explains that he had been on Earth for the past 4 months and he was living in a temple similar to this one but larger overlooking the city, and that he was just in the heavens talking to father. The portal glowed again and a figure appeared; it was Rind, Belldandy was pleasently surprised to see Rind after along time. As Rind greeted the other goddesses, unkown to them something evil was staring at Zidane from a dark corner in the rafters.
"So is Zidane your half brother like Skuld and Urd are to you?" Keiichi asked
"No; Zidane and I have the same mother, we're twins" Belldandy replied
"But you don't look like typical twins do" Keiichi said puzzled
"Non-identical Keiichi" Skuld inturupted
Belldandy was worried, she could sense that evil was in the air, but it was very unlike the feeling when she senses Mara, infact Mara hadn't been upto any michief for a few weeks.
"Whats up Belldandy?" Urd asked
"I feal theres a disturbence in the force*" Belldandy said
* I'm sorry about that; I couldn't help it! ^_^
"What kind of disturbence?" Urd asked
"You know that time when you were taken over by the lord of terror...." Belldandy said
"Don't remind me, everybody in the heavens is giving me stick about that" Urd sulked
"Well the disturbence is like that, I can't tell weather its evil or one of Mara's tricks but its really disturbing me" Belldandy said
"Well it can't be Mara, she doesn't disturb you that much" Urd replied
The telephone in the hallway rang, Belldandy went to answer it
"Hello Morisato residence" Belldandy said
"Belldandy...." the Almighty said
"My lord" Belldandy replied
"We registered a major gravitational pulse up here; Yggdrasil detected something heading towards earth, we don't know what it was but Peorth is working on it" the Almighty said
"Gravitational pulse? The only other time a pulse that large was detected was......" Belldandy said
"...When the lord of terror nearly destroyed the universe; what is strange is the arcanas used to seal the traitor gods away have awaken and are shuddering, I've posted the Grey Knights to guard the arcanas incase something happens" the almighty replied
"Brrr, did someone leave a window open?" Zidane said
"Its so cold" Rind complained
"I can warm you up - up close that is" Zidane smirked at Rind
"Ohhh!" Rind smiled
Rind and Zidane hurried off somewere
"Eewwww!" Skuld cringed
Keiichi was in his room trying to study, but he couldn't because all he could hear was Zidane and Rind getting down to it and they were at the other end of the temple. The next day Rind was peacefully sleeping with her head resting on Zidane's chest; Belldandy was in the kitchem preparing breakfast for everybody, she still felt worried she could still sense a disturbance but it was stronger now. Zidane woke up, got dressed and walked into the kitchen, the glare of the morning sunlight made him squint his eyes.
"Morning sis" Zidane said
"Morning, I've made you your coffee" Belldandy smiled
"Thanks, I just need to get something from outside" Zidane said walking outside
Moments later Rind walked into the room feeling a bit queezy.
"You two were making quite a racket last night" Belldandy smirked
"Uh yes, sorry if Zidane and I made to much noise" Rind apoligised
Suddenly Rind and Belldandy heard a scream from outside, the both ran to where the scream came drom
"Zidane!!" Rind yelled
"I'm alright, something scared me" Zidane said
Rind stood up
"You're so silly!" Belldandy laughed
"Are you sure you are ok" Rind said moving off "You banged your head" she continued
"I'm just fine" Zidane said with a smile on his face as the Rind and Belldandy turned around "I'm just fine!" Zidane's eyes glowed with an evil smile
Zidane laughed under his breath
::You're the ones who won't be fine, mark my words goddesses!::
Zidane's eyes glowed one more before fading as he caught up with Rind
