Alice In Wonderland Fan Fiction ❯ Show No Cowardice ❯ Sentience ( Chapter 1 )
[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
A poem for the Tim Burton version of Alice in Wonderland, through a poem on how Alice reclaims her identity, the true Alice behind a young girl in the Victorian Era.
I own nothing.
You have two choices now:
Either march with your head held high into battle.
Donned with silver armor, your strength boundless.
Or run, like a scared child, for a door.
For an escape of some sort.
Until that problem is behind you.
You've chosen to stay and fight, to deal with this?
Good. Let's see if you can hold your own, shall we?
Show valor or show cowardice.
Show fear or show might.
It's up to you to find your path, the one that you claim you create.
Be the Snow's Champion, or be the Blood's Pawn.
Pick up the sword, or bow your head and show mortification.
The choice is yours, Fair One, and I suggest you choose now.
Don't run through the gardens pacing, sorting, calculating.
Simply kill your dread, accept that this isn't a dream, and pick up your sword.
You know your name and it's not Uum, nor Cowardice.
Slay your dragons, kill your demons.
And you are once again Alice.
