Motionless

 

Sokka groaned as he tried to move his arms.

 

“You know,” he said, wiggling his shoulders a bit. “This is starting to get annoying.”

 

Ty Lee giggled, touching the hilt of his knife, which she'd used to hold him up against the tree. “Only the third time this week.”

 

“But these things usually last two days at a time. Sometimes more.” He shrugged, frowning. “And I always end up not being able to use my arms.”

 

She giggled again and leaned closer. “You don't really need your arms.”

 

“No, I guess not. Where are the rest of the killer ladies?”

 

“Out doing their respective duties. I get to take care of you until they get back.”

 

He sighed.

 

“You know…” She moved closer to him, poking him in the chest. “You're kind of whiny.”

 

His eyes narrowed.

 

Her finger began moving in mindless circles, and he gulped.

 

“It's kind of cute.”
