~Zuko~

" Prince Zuko, a minor ship in our fleet would like to board ours for some interaction on the plan since there seems to be a storm coming soon." one of my captains said as he pointed to a smaller ship making it's way through the fleet to get next to our ship. I nodded at their entry and looked over to Zenaida who was staring at the ship as well, breaking the fleet's pattern in an unattractive way.

" Zenaida, let's go." I said and walked out of the captain's room and down to the dock, Zenaida following close behind me. I watched as the captain of that ship made it's way onto ours through a thin and temporary bridge. Two guards accompanied him, but they stayed a few feet behind before their captain came up to me.

" Prince Zuko." he said before giving a deep bow. I gave him permission to stand up and we walked over to my quarters.

" Zenaida, guard the door." I said, my insides turning for how she would react when I said this. She bowed and closed the door as we began to look at the different maps and discuss my plan with Zenaida.

~Zenaida~

I don't understand how Prince Zuko expects me to guard the door when there is no earth around me, and I doubt anyone will try to come in. But, I'll just stand out here and do what I've been told.

The bruise on my cheek ached still from this morning's incident. Honestly, I feel more bad for Prince Zuko. You know, having to deal with "both" of me. He doesn't deserve to be handed my burden. No, I mean, "burdens". More than 1. Hell, it's more than 2. And it's definitely not 3, hehe. Damn, what have I got him into.

" A whole load of shit. What do you think you got him into?" that strong voice said through my head and I wasn't trying to push it away now. I actually felt indifferent that it was talking to me once again, so I spoke back.

" He doesn't deserve this....." I spoke lowly in my mind and recieved a menacing chuckle before an exaggerated shriek.

" He deserves every fuckin' piece of this! Of us! He's lucky to even have found us, so stop bitching because he should be greatful he has us! He should be on his knees for us!" the strong voice said as if it were giving a persuasive speech. I could feel the power in her voice growing with every word he said and was beginning to get too loud for my head so I quickly put up my metal walls again and wouldn't let them down for a while.

" Why do you always keep me in this crappy cage, Zenaida? I always break out anyways! It's just a waste of your fuckin' energy!" she yelled with a chuckle. I knew this was true and let my mind relax for a moment before I leaned against the wall. " So, what do you plan to do if there's an intruder, Zenaida, hm? There's no fuckin' earth or rock anywhere near, and obviously you can't fight for shit. Your a wimp."

" Just leave me alone." I spoke back in my mind to her and she just chuckled.

" Leave you alone? I can't leave you alone! Because "you" are "me" and I am you, so, you partially belong to me and I can do whatever the hell I want with you!" she screamed and I knew something bad was bound to happen because everything began to get dark.

" No, stop!" I said lowly to myself because my body was beginning to weaken. With the last ounce of energy I had, I focused and concentrated hard, my muscles tensing up from the task I was trying to do. I could feel her prescence in my mind slowly shrinking back and when she was no longer there, I eased down and sighed.

" You can't keep me in forever. I'm going to get out sooner or later." she hissed and I took a relieving breathe. I watched guards walk up and down the hall, casting me looks that I was already use to getting. I returned them with warm smiles that made them blush and shy away when I made eye contact. That was fine with me since I didn't want any attention from those guards who looked like murderers, which they probably are.

" She is that deadly?" the captain asked in fascination. I nodded and glanced back out of the window.

" Make the rest of the fleet known to her abilities, but hide their knowledge from her or else she won't be too happy. I need her in the best state I can get her since it's obvious that a Fire Nation fleet even larger than ours can't capture the Avatar, but since we have her in our hands it will most likely tip the scale to our advantage. Now leave, and do the task quietly. I can't have this going back to her. I don't want everyone to act strange around her. I just need them to be aware." I turned to him and he nodded before exiting the room. I could see him cast her nothing but a curious glance before walking out of the hallways and back on deck to notify the men. I summoned her back in the room and she walked in with a smile.

" Was everything okay, Prince Zuko?" she asked as she stood by my side again. I shot her a smile and nodded, pushing the past conversation out of my mind as I looked out of the window again.

" Get my training clothes ready. After that, go and tell my uncle that I'm ready to spar and stay with him until I get up there." I instructed her and she obeyed. I watched her kneel in front of my chest and her fragile back bend over to reach in for my clothes. She threw my shirt over one of her arms and kept digging for the rest of my clothes. Her robe still being ripped and shortened, I couldn't help but move over a bit to see what I could, but was stopped by my uncle clearing his throat.

" Zuko...." he said lowly and I could feel my face burning. A warm smile lit up on Zenaida's face as she bowed to him.

" General Iroh." she said and went back to retrieving my clothes. She set them on my bed and stood next to me. " I was about to go up there and tell you that Prince Zuko was ready to spar, but since your down here already...." she trailed off, looking a little confused at what words she would say next. My uncle cocked an eyebrow and I could see him holding back a grin.

" She will accompany you while you set up my training, Uncle." I said, trying to hide my uneasiness from my uncle catching me doing something like that. He nodded and waved over a hand to Zenaida to follow him. I gave her a tender peck on the lips and she blushed before bowing and following my uncle back up to the deck.

~Zenaida~

I followed General Iroh up to the deck where he rounded up a few of the guards before sitting down on chair to the side. I stood by it, enjoying that the day was getting warmer.

" Zenaida, tell me the truth about how you feel for my nephew." he said in a low voice to only be heard between the two of us. I blushed when he said this and looked down.

" I care for him deeply, General Iroh. He reminds me of a crab, kind of. You know, hard on the outside, but soft on the inside." I said, mainly to myself and smiled. I looked up to find General Iroh smiling at me as well and that made my insides melt.

" Yes, that's what my nephew is. A crab. Very good. But Zenaida.....do you see him as..you know...a boyfriend of some sort?" he asked curiously, and that question kind of hit me like a bomb since I never thought of it before. Was he like a boyfriend? No, we don't act like it because boyfriend and girlfriends hold hands and stuff in public. No, we are more of the couple behind closed doors. The forbidden couple to the public. Yes, that's what we are.

" No, General Iroh." I simply said. Having a sure answer to that question didn't mean it was correct. I hated to give his aged and kind uncle such a short answer, but there was nothing else I could say. He nodded in understanding and a few minutes later, Prince Zuko came out and all attention was on him as he approached me.

" Zenaida. I want to see your other side." he said, and that famous chuckle rang through my head again before everthing got black.

~Zuko~

" Well, she doesn't want to see you." the powerful and strong voice said and her head raised from the ground. She stood up straight and confident, that bold smirk playing on her face again. Her eyes became sharper and dangerous as she inched her face closer to mine. " What do you want." she hissed under her breathe.

" I know that you are a skilled fighter. Show me how skilled you are by taking out those three guards." I pointed to them and I could already see them stepping back from not wanting to get killed by her. They must've heard of what happened the other night. She smiled and looked up at me.

" I won't need to use my power to take out these chicken shits." she stated and looked out at the three guards with a cocked eyebrow.

" I didn't ask you to." I said as she jumped from her spot next to my uncle to the middle of the three guards. Spotting the first guard, she kicked his spear out of her way since it was lunging at her. The blade of that spear came off and flew into her hand. It only took one quick move to remove his helmet and pierce the blade into his head. She removed it quickly and dodged a fireball one of the men shot at her. Her agility was quick as she dodged the blasts that were thrown to her and when in front of the second guard, she did one quick high-kick and there was a deafening crack that could be heard throughout the whole deck. The man's head snapped back in some sickening contorted way. She jumped out of the way of a thick flame that licked her arm. It singed off the edge of her robe but wasn't able to leave a mark on her as she did a back flip and made her way behind the last man. Grabbing the edge of his helmet, she did one quick turn and another crack was heard before the last guard's face was facing her. She was standing behind him. His body fell to the floor and she turned all the way around, smiling in satisfaction at her job well done.

" Who's next?" she asked, but everyone was glued in the same position they were in for the past 19 seconds of her killings. Everyone looked from the dismembered heads to her. I approached her.

" What is your name?" I asked and she just chuckled while she made her way over to me and leaned her head on my shoulder.

" You don't deserve to know my name." she whispered in my ear and I could feel a quick movement ring through her body. I quickly turned around and grabbed her wrist that held the small knife aimed for my back. Guards were at my side with the tips of their spears to her neck.

" Why do you wish to kill me?" I asked as I lowered my face to hers. She smirked and shook her head.

" Because your a fuckin' bastard just like your father." that statement cut me like a knife because I never wanted to be like my father. I knocked the guards' spears away and grabbed her collar.

" I am never going to be like my father. Do you understand?" I hissed in her ear and she just chuckled before placing her hands on the hand that was gripping her collar.

" I am going to ask you very nicely to remove your hands from my collar." she said, but I was too pissed off at the moment. Her eyes went cold as she neared her face to mine. " Take my fuckin' advice."

" No." I hissed and the hands that were over mine erupted in a ball of fire. I snatched my hands back and my eyes widened. " Your a Fire Bender."
