The very next day, it was obscenely hot.  Kaorin was in the shower.  However, she had more spaghetti strap shirts, but less short sleeved shirts.  Yomi, likewise, had on her white tank top.  Both went bra less..and both were in their panties.  The fan was on...but it felt like it was doing nothing.  The blinds were drawn shut...however, the laws of convection had the last laugh.  They were sweaty.  They both wanted to be naked and in a swimming pool somewhere.  The nearest pool was not far...but it was going to be packed.

"Man, I wish the school pool was open today," Kaorin said...fanning herself with a magazine

"You said it," Yomi said sweating.  She had her glasses off since they started to stick to her face.

"I called around...thankfully there's a new water fun center nearby."

"Maybe we should go, I packed a one-piece swimsuit," Kaorin suggested.

"Hey, and it only cost a thousand yen a person to get in," Yomi smiled.

"Let me call ahead to make sure they're not full," Kaorin suggested.

"They shouldn't be, today they're opening at two," Yomi then reported.

"We better get ready!" Kaorin sang sweetly.

"Exactly, it is 10:30 right now!"

The two made their plans to go to the new water fun center.  It was definitely an American-style water park.  It had the water rides, the slide, the wading pools, etc.  It also was very huge compared to the Happy Land amusement park.  Once they had their towels, bathing suits, wallets, and extra clothing taken care of...they were on their way (Yomi made sure the door was locked).  They took the bus to the new center called Aqua Palace.  There were other people on the bus on their way there as well.  Some kids whined that it was too hot to do anything.  Once they arrived to Aqua Land, they were in awe of the park.  It was grand opening day after all. They didn't realize that today it was going to be half-priced...plus the cost of the lockers.  As the gates opened, they weren't too far off in line.  They were the 20th people there.  Once they got to the showers/locker area...Yomi had her shower shoes on.  There was no way she wanted to catch anything bad.  Kaorin followed the same.  

"Here," Kaorin said, "This will keep them out of the way when we have to walk around and get back into the shower."

"Thanks," Yomi said, placing the baggies in the locker, "for the heads up."

"It's no problem...exactly like gym class."

"Right, only thing is...we don't have to wear those ugly bathing suits."

"You got that right," Kaorin chuckled.

"This is going to be a fun day."

They put all of their clothing and possessions under lock and key.  They got the two end lockers so they'd remember.  They also were next to each other, as they took their shower.  Once out, they explored the park.  The walk ways were a rubber/cloth road so nobody's feet would get melted or scorched.  They went to the basic water slides.  They had a cloth under pad to make the trip that much more thrilling.  Once they were let loose...the trip down the slide took place.  Yomi (who left her glasses in her locker) and Kaorin squealed and laughed with delight.  Once they reached the bottom, and splashed down in the pool...they were laughing.  The lifeguard saw they were enjoying themselves.

"Be careful," he said with a smile.

"We definitely will," Kaorin and Yomi promised.

"Have a nice day," he smiled.

The day went on like this.  Except for the trip back to the locker to buy lunch, they rode all of the water rides.  Once that was over...and they were showered, dried off, and in their clothing...they went back home.  It was with the same group of people they came with.  The little kids were talking about how cool the big slides were, and their mother gave a soft smile.  Once they were at Yomi's place...they decided to have one more shower.  To get the chlorine out of their hair.  That would had brought havoc.  Here is where Yomi needed Kaorin's help.

"Kaorin...my hair's a bit on the long side..." Yomi started.

"It's no problem," Kaorin smiled  "I was thinking about this all day."

"Me too," Yomi returned.

"Would it be weird?"

"This wouldn't be weird...I was in a mixed-company bath back in Hokkaido during Christmas break."

"Oh, but...for us..."

"This is a bit of an awkward situation...but I can deal with it."

Kaorin then smiled, and got into the bath basket.  Yomi decided they would continue with their routine.  However, Yomi was on the stool in the shower, while Kaorin was behind her on standing up.  She was washing her hair, and Yomi smiled.  She was in her own little world, thinking about how they would get on.  After, Kaorin took the time to wash Yomi's hair...it was feeling better.  Yomi returned the favor.  She was careful to be gentle.  Kaorin actually enjoyed how things were going.  She didn't even think things would be so...heavenly.  After they showered, and got out the chlorine from their hair...they went into the living room.  There it was cooler.  It was also Thursday...and things have been quiet after the incident yesterday.  

"Yomi, may I excuse myself to your bedroom?" Kaorin asked.  "I haven't had my 'alone' time in forever."

"Sure," Yomi said, "I haven't had my alone time either."

"Oh...well...do you want to go first?" Kaorin asked.

"That would be a perfect idea," Yomi answered.

"I was a week too long...but it was worth it," Kaorin smiled.

He got the hint, and didn't push any further  Still, he kinda wished that Kaorin's parents would have given them more advanced warning.  He let them go.  Kaorin smiled, and went into Yomi's arms.  She didn't care how hot it was.  She loved the protective feeling of her embrace.  They decided to enjoy the rest of the day close to each other.  The sun was setting on this Thursday...however...tomorrow...this was when fireworks was going to be launched.
