CAST:

Batman: Main protagonist, the costumed crusader.

Robin: Batman's apprentice; found by Batman at a young age, Robin harbors many mysteries.

Mayor: Random character; The Mayor has just succeeded in 'organizing' crime when a mysterious group of Freaks shows up.

Catwoman: Jewel Theif; Batman's love interest.

Mr. Freeze: Minor antagonist; tries to destroy the city.

Joker: Antagonist; organizes crimes and attacks batman and robin incessantly.

Superman: Minor antagonist; while once a hero, superman is just looking for glory in his declining age

Ivy: Minor antagonist; Attacks Robin.

Thorn: Minor antagonist; Joins in the attack on Batman and Robin.

Sparrow: Mysterious character; Possibly Robin's brother?

Story:

The Story takes place in late 1999, in GOTHAM CITY. As the century prepares to turn, so does Gotham City.
THE MAYOR sets forth a bill to organize crime. With the new laws, BATMAN loses reason to hero
and is forced to hang up the cape. ('Democracy') Late night at a bar a boy stumbles in, wet and cold. ('The Boy') Batman
takes him home and teaches him how to be a hero after the child stumbles upon the batcave. ('Work Your Ass Off')
Ten years later ROBIN ('Robin?') is grown and about to leave, when MR. FREEZE attacks the city.('Lights in the Sky', 'Cool Down') Batman
once again takes up his job and fights alongside Robin to save the city. After the fight we are breifly introduced to THE JOKER. ('Hello, Batboy!')
SUPERMAN arrives late to the scene and confuses Batman for a criminal. They fight briefly and Batman tells him off. ('Glory')
While Batman and Superman are fighting, IVY and THORN plan an attack. Thorn, a clumsy oaf, constantly screws up and Ivy
screams. Robin hears Ivy cursing and rushes off to see what's wrong. Robin gets in a tussle with Ivy and Thorn ('In a Tangle')
but eventually prevails. A mysterious man appears and defeats Batman, Robin, Superman, Ivy, and Thorn. ('The Sparrow') After they are beaten The Joker
comes along and laughs in their faces, telling them that justice is gone and evil will reign. ('The Joke's on You')
Batman and Robin recover in a jail cell and a few minutes later The Joker reappears. ('The Joke's on You Reprise') He tells them
the city is about to explode ('Boom') and then rushes off. Robin frees himself from the jail and stops the bomb before it detonates,
defeating both The Joker and Ivy. ('Robin the Hero') They're not out of trouble yet as fires explode across the city. The Sparrow has set
the city ablaze. ('Burning the City') Robin and Batman save the day ('Finale A') and prevail over The Sparrow. However, during
their fight, Robin is pushed into the inferno. Months later Batman mourns the death of Robin but rejoices at his many accomplishments. ('Finale B')
Batman soon is killed by The Joker, ending the story. ('Counting Crows')
