Kai: "hey Shanell me and Max are going to go are you staying here you would you like it if we walked you back?"

Shanell: "yeah I'll go with you guys I mean it beats listening to dad yell at us"

They walked back to the hotel Max kept going

Kai: "I want to talk to you about something ok?"
