CHAPTER 9. `What!!'

“Where are you going Mariam?” Ellen asked Mariam as she saw her move out of the room

“Ellen now Mariah has the scissors so let me bring my suitcase too” saying this she moved out of the room

she closed the door and started moving towards her room but suddenly someone holded her hand and rolled her over to the wall and stood in front of her with his hands above her both shoulders

“M-M-Max!” Mariam said hesitantly as she looked who it was

“What are you doing?” she asked with fear

“no need to worry. I was just saying if you don't mind doing dinner with me tonight so..” Max left his sentence incomplete but cleared the sense of his sentence to Mariam

“o o okay!” she again said hesitantly as Max touched her soft cheek with his finger and left the hall entering his room while Mariam moved down and sat on her feet

“Mariam! Mariam” suddenly Hilary and Ellen came out of the room for search of their friend

“Mariam are you okay?” Hilary asked Mariam when she saw her sitting on the floor

“yeah I think I am!” saying this Mariam brought her suit case in the room

“what are you doing here” Kai asked Tyson coming out of his bathroom as he saw him standing in front of the music system trying to make it work

“hun! Oh Kai! You scared me!” Tyson said turning around as Kai moved in front of the mirror and started combing his hair

“its not the answer of my question. And you can use the remote to make it work” He said moving to his closet of course he was in the towel

“aaa! Well Mariam is in my room with Maxie and I didn't wanna to disturb him” Tyson said as he placed a CD in the player

“and Rei!” Kai asked putting on his shirt

“he is in Mariam's room..”

“whats he doing there” Kai interrupted Tyson and asked turning around with shock

“he is there with Mariah and you know he would be doing there” Tyson said giving him a mischievous look

“oh God!!” Kai said rolling his eyes

“so that's why you're in my room” Kai said tying a belt around the waist hooks of his pants

“easy Tyson!” Kai said hanging his towel on the hanger as he saw Tyson wrestling with the remote control

“its not working!” Tyson said throwing the remote to Kai to catch

“you idiot! First plug it in the switch” Kai said as he plug the wire in the switch and pressed the play button

“Kai! I didn't know you like rock music” Tyson said with an annoying look

and as an answer Kai raised his eyebrow

“you know something Kai!” Tyson said sitting on the couch while Kai was changing the disk

“I could have beaten that Hilary if you guys didn't laugh at me” Tyson said moving towards the television and turning it on

“you just got beaten by a girl! There is nothing to blame us” Kai said as he saw Tyson to turn on the T.V so he switched off the music system

“she didn't beat me”

“oh really!”

“its like her friends were also taking her side”

“ask Max! because Mariam was the one who said you the mirror breaking line”

“I will beat her”

“I just don't get it!”

“what!”

“how did Mariam knew the truth about you” Kai said giving Tyson an evil smile

“ha-ha-ha was that a joke”

“it was”

“well! I don't like jokes”

“I don't like you!”

“oh yeah”

“yeah!”

the both started arguing giving fierce looks to each other

but suddenly someone opened the door which made the both of them very surprised

“umm sorry! I should have knocked first” the one who opened the door said and closed the door and then knocked and said

“can I come in?”

“yes! Ellen you can” Kai answered as he turned off the T.V snatching the remote from Tyson

“oh hi boys! Kai I have something to tell you in alone” she said looking at Tyson

“you stay here!” Kai said to Tyson and went out of his room

“what is it?” Kai asked

“Mr. Dickinson gave this letter to me to give it to you. I just remember now that I have this. I am sorry that I am giving the letter very late” Ellen said passing the envelope to Kai and moved away

“what is it Kai! Your love letter!” Tyson said laying on the couch as Kai threw the envelope on him in anger

“its from Mr.D! stupid”

“I didn't know Mr. D was gay”

“shut up Tyson or get out of my room”

“okhay! Sorry”

Tyson came near Kai and started looking at the letter from above his shoulder

“Tyson! Cut it out” Kai said moving away from him

“what! I was just trying to read the letter”

“you can eat the letter! But after me! Now stay away from me”

he said and started reading the letter carefully and rose his eyebrow after finishing it

He put his over coat and started moving out of the room with the letter

“hey wait for me” Tyson shouted and he also got out of the room

Kai and Tyson were now in the hall

“go call everyone else!” Kai gave an order to Tyson

“Rei and Max also”

“yeah”

“I am not going”

“why?”

“they must be doing some things!!! In their rooms”

on this sentence of Tyson, Kai gasped and rolled his eyes

“okhay! Go call Ellen and Hilary”

“ok!”

Tyson said moving to their room

He knocked the door and Ellen opened the door

“Kai is calling you Ellen!”

“me!”

“yeah”

he said as Ellen came out of her room and closed the door and stoood in front of Kai

“what is it Kai!”

“where is Hilary, Tyson” Kai asked Tyson as he saw only Ellen standing there beside Tyson

And as a response Ellen looked at Tyson with curiosity

“I am not calling that witch” Tyson crossing his arms and closing his eyes

“witch!” Ellen said with her eyes wide

“Ellen you go and call Hilary” Kai said to Ellen

“and why should I”

“because I am saying”

“and who are you?”

“I am Kai”

“I know that”

“if you knew so why did you ask who am I”

“I meant that why should I follow your orders”

“because If you wanna participate in the world tournament! You have to follow my commands”

Kai said coolly and Ellen went away to her room murmuring

“and also call Mariam and Mariah!” Tyson shouted from behind

“you sure shut her up Kai!” Tyson said placing his hand on Kai's shoulder

Kai looked at Tyson's hand from the corner of his eyes and then looked at Tyson as a warning of `mind that! would ya' and as a response Tyson moved his hand smiling

Ellen came out of her room with Hilary

“where are the other two” Tyson asked

“I am not calling them” Ellen said crossing her arms

“why” Tyson again asked mischievously

“they're busy”

“busy?” Kai asked raising his eyebrow

“umm…”

“umm what!” Kai asked

Ellen gave Kai an evil but full of mischief grin and then said smiling slightly

“why don't you go and call Rei and Max”

Ellen said which made Kai and Tyson look at each other

“okhay!” Kai said

he started moving to the two rooms and knocked the both doors one by one. Well that knocking was not just knocking that was punching and shouted

“Rei!! Max!! both!! Out of your rooms now”
