Kai started out through the window and up to the stars. He thought about what had happened the last couple of days and then thought of what might had happened if the others hadn't found him. He lifted his hand and started at the small tattoo there. He stroked the dragon and then the phoenix. `I m so glad that I have you, Tyson'

He sighed and turned his head to look at his blade. As soon as his red eyes landed on the blade the bit started to glow. He smiled as Dranzer emerged and hopped up in his lap. "Hi girl" he said as he stroked her red feathers.

Dranzer tilted her head before nipping at his forelock. `Is everything alright?' she asked and started to straighten the tussled hair into its original shape. `You have been so quiet'

Kai tried to shoo the phoenix away from his hair but soone gave up. "I m alright, Dranzer. I was just thinking about what might have happened…"

`Don't go there!' Dranzer snapped and nipped him hard on the nose. He settled back on his chest. `Don't think about thinks that hasn't happened. It will only make you sad and I don't want you to be sad' she said before resuming her grooming.

The duelhaired boy sighed and leaned back into the pillow. "Why are you so protective of me? I mean, I have given you up for Black Dranzer and lost you in battle"

Dranzer nuzzled his ear and cooed. `I know that you love me as much as I love you. I have had lots of masters before you, but you are special. When you gave me up I knew that you would come to your senses again. I have been with you ever since you were three years old, Kai. I have seen the hell you lived in all those years where you should have been a child. I was there with you even when you accused me for all the pain you suffered' she said and put her head under the boy's neck. `You aren't a dark and cold hearted person as everyone says that you are, otherwise you would never had forgiven me'

Kai warped his arms around the phoenix and felt the heat she gave him. "I m sorry for all that. I admit that I have been bastard. Looking at people like they weren't worth being around and treating you like an object then a friend…" he said and pinched the phoenix's beak closed as he continued. "… but after I met Tyson and realised how much you mean to me, I have changed for the better. Thank you, my friend" he smiled.

Dranzer cooed and a tear ran from her golden eye. `I m so glad that I have you, Kai. Never forget it' she said and vanished back into her blade.

The boy reached over to the table and picked up the warm blade. He pressed it against his heart as he fell asleep.

Tyson awoke in the middle of the night. He didn't know what had awoken him but something just didn't feel right. He threw the covers of him and put on his socks. He then stood up and walked over to the door. He opened the door and spotted Max in the hall. He seemed to talk to someone on the phone and the bluenette silently listened.

"… so you can't find him? But how could you loose him in the first place?! He IS a CRIMINAL after all!" Max argued with the person on the other end. He clenched a fist. "So you are suspecting that he is heading for the hospital?" he asked and slammed his fist into the wall. He almost dropped the phone as he waved his injured hand. "Ite…"

That was enough information that Tyson needed to know. He suspected he knew who Max were talking to. He walked forwards the blond as Max put the phone down with a bang. "Was it the police?" he asked.

"What are you two doing up two a clock in the morning?" Kenny asked as he rubbed the sleep out from his eyes.

Behind the small boy came Ray who looked really worried. He spotted Max and quickly walked over to him. "I was starting to get worried when I didn't find you in bed. Why are you up, koi?" he asked.

Max looked at each member or BBA before sighing. "That was the police chief I just talked to. He says that Enjou has escaped from the cell where he was held. They suspect that he is heading for Kai at the hospital"

Tyson growled. "We must go there now! If that sick bastard is after Kai we must stop him!"

Kenny nodded. "That is true but there is something we can do from here while we try to get a cab" he said.

Max and Ray looked at him confused. "And what is that?"

Kenny smiled. "Tyson, why don't you send Dragoon to the hospital together with Drigger? They can keep Enjou away from Kai long enough until we get there"

Tyson smiled. "You are right! Come on, Ray! It's time to let them rip!" he said and dashed back into his room to get Dragoon.

Ray was about to dash to his and Max's room when he was stopped by his blond lover. "What are you doing, Max? I need to go and get…"

"… Drigger that is in your pyjamas pocket. You never sleep without Drigger, and I should know. Every time you turn over in your sleep you yelp and roll back. It is annoying" Max said and fished out the blade from his lover's pocket.

Ray blushed before smiling at the blond. "And what are you doing up in the middle of the night to notice that?"

Max stuttered and blushed hard. He let out a breath of relief when he saw Tyson coming back to them, fully clothed.

"Lets use my launcher and not waste time running for yours" he said and prepared Dragoon. He launched the blade and quickly have the launcher to the black haired boy. When Drigger hit the floor he called for his bit beast. "Dragoon! Come forth!"

"You to, Drigger! I need you!" Ray called to his bit.

The bits on the blades started to glow and after a flash of light a tiger and a dragon hovered in the hall. `You called for me, Tyson' Dragoon purred and coiled himself around Tyson's shoulders.

Drigger buffed his head against Rays legs. `What do you need from me, master Ray?' he asked and sat back on the floor.

Tyson patted the dragon on the head. "My lover Kai and Dranzer needs help. We want you two to go to the hospital and protect them until we arrive. Can you do that for us?" Tyson asked.

Dragoon nodded once. `Of course, Tyson. Dranzer is my soul mate after all. If she and her master is in trouble, I'll be happy to help in any way I can'

Drigger purred. `Count me in. if a fellow beast and its master is in trouble, I'll help as well. Just be careful, master Ray. Call for me if you need me' he said and vanished with Dragoon.

Ray frowned. "I hope that we can find a cab soon" he said and looked at Max who was clutching his hand. "Max, are you hurt?" he asked and grabbed the boy's hand.

Max shook his head. "It is only a bruise. I'll call for a cab while you get dressed" he said and pushed Ray forwards their room. "Don't worry about me, I have just showered and gotten fresh cloths since my old ones are shredded thanks to you!" he accused Ray. He went back to the phone and dialled the number for a cab.

`Kai! Kai! Wake up, master!'

Kai mumbled before opening his eyes. He sat up and rubbed his eye. "Dranzer? Why are you calling?" he asked and yawned.

The bit glowed and Dranzer emerged. She looked really stressed and a few feathers fell from her. `He is coming! You got to hide!' he screeched and poked him in the side with her beak.

Kai frowned before tensing. "You mean that… Enjou is coming? But how? He is in prison!" he said and jumped out from the bed. His legs hadn't gotten their strength back and he fell to the ground. Just before he hit the floor he felt a body beneath him. "What the?"

Drigger grunted as he caught Kai. `You are heavier then you look, master Kai'

Kai sat down on the floor and blinked at the tiger. "Drigger? Why are you here?" he asked and patted the tiger's head.

`I m here to' Dragoon said and sat down on the bed with Dranzer. `Hello, Dranzer-chan' he purred to the phoenix and rubbed his muzzle against her.

Dranzer puffed up her feathers and pecked the Dragon on the nose. `The one who hurt my master is coming and you are snuggling with me?! We got to protect Kai!' she snapped and hopped up on Kai's shoulder. `Just for that I won't groom you for a week!'

Kai sighed. Dranzer and Dragoon were just like him and Tyson sometimes. "Let's go. I don't want to be here when Enjou comes"

The three beasts nodded and followed him as they left the room.

Well that's the last chap on this fic. You have to imagine what will happen next I guess. If I ever feel like I have the strength to work on this fic, I may post a chapter in the future but right now it doesn't look good.
