It was a surpisingly hot day in early June as the four friends sat together around a picnic table on the grounds of Myerscough college. It was the end of lessons and everyone was glad to be able to sit and talk amongst themselves and catch up with their work. They had known each other for as long as they could remember and were very close. Currently Kim and Laura were lying down on the warm green grass, catching the early evening rays, hoping to get a tan while Rachel and Simon were finishing off some work. Laura then sat up and pulled out a competition form and began to fill it out.

"Hey what are you doing Laura?" Kim asked remaining in her position on the grass. Laura looked up and gave her friends a sly smirk, which usually meant that she was up to something or she would explain eventually.

"Wait and see. Good things come to those who wait" and that was all she said before returning to the form.

three weeks later

It was the last day of term and Rachel, Kim and Simon were waiting patiently for Laura to arrive. It had been a long day and the four friends had planned to go out to a night club in Preston that had recently opened.

"Where the hell is she?" Kim asked getting impatient. Rachel sighed and shrugged her shoulders.

"It looks like someone needs to get laid" Simon responded. Kim kept quiet but glared angrily at Simon. Just then Rachel looked up and saw Laura walking towards them. Laura had a smile plastered onher face and held a brown envelope in her hand.

"Sorry I'm late but this just came in the post and I got excited" Laura told them.

"Excited about what?" Kim asked looking slightly confused.

"Do you remember three weeks ago that I filled out a competition form?" Laura asked
"Yea"
"Well the prize was for a three week holiday for four to Tokyo in Japan in a five star luxuary hotel" Laura announced handing out three 1st class tickets to her friends.

"Hey we're flying first class that like so cool" Kim almost yelled

"We're going to TOKYO YAY" Rachel and Laura yelled getting excited and then the four friends all jumped together all getting excited and a bit hyper. Then the four of them all left the college campus hand in hand with smiles on their faces, all of them excited about going to Tokyo.

That's all for this chapter. I know the ending sort of sucked a bit but it will get better. This fic is dedicated to all my friends. Hope you enjoy and plz R&R
