Hey guys, thanx for reviewing so far. Now just the normal stuff and onto the fic!

Ok this is my friends' fic but she doesn't have the internet so she asked me to edit it and put it up for her. This is her first fic and she doesn't know a lot about beyblade so sorry if the characters aren't exactly perfect. Read and review please. Flames are welcome. This is a KaixOc fic. It did used to be ReixOc aswell. But we changed that.

Crimson eyes crept open, wincing as sunlight flooded into his vision. Kai sat up, clutching his head and groaning in pain. He blinked a few times, waiting for his eyes to adjust. He glanced around the room. Body's were spread all over the floor, everyone was either asleep or passed out. Except for one. Tala sat on the couch, looking around the room. Ice blue eyes made contact with crimson and Kai stood, swaying slightly and carefully weaved his way over to Tala.

 

“Hey wolf.”

“Phoenix. How're you feeling?” Kai groaned.

“Like shit. Getting hammered is only good in theory.” Tala grinned.

“Dually noted. I'll remember aspirin then.” Kai shook his head, wincing as a throbbing began.

“Why don't you have a hangover?” Tala smirked.

“I never went to sleep. I've been drinking water since you all passed out. I think I'm safe.” Kai growled.

“Bastard.”

“We cleared out the bar fridge. There was three slabs in there, four bottles of wine, plus some.” Kai groaned again. “You beat everyone at shot chess.” Kai grinned.

“And probably got pissed while doing so.”

“We all got pissed.”

“I got the worst though. What have you been waiting for?” Tala sipped his water and grinned.

“Mariam still hasn't thrown up, she keeps that vile mixture down and Rei's never gonna get outta that skirt.” Kai grinned.

“And you're gonna owe her a hell of a lot. What's the time?” Kai asked, his head falling into his hands as the throbbing started again. Tala glanced at the wall.

“Uhh….nearly mid-day. Why?” Kai's eyes flew open and he groaned.

“Tyson's gonna kill us. AND we're late for training.” Tala snickered.

“Take a break Kai.” Kai opened his mouth to respond when his mobile began ringing, causing both Russians to jump, Kai blocking his ears and scowling. Moans could be heard as the constant ringing woke the others.

“Kai answer the god damned phone!” Bryan growled. The others voiced their agreement, holding their heads in their hands. Kai unblocked his ears, wincing as the noise flooded into his head. He pulled out his phone and answered it.

“Hello?”

“Kai?! It's Max!” Kai frowned.

“Lower your voice.”

“…Kai I'm barely whispering. You and Rei need to get your arse back here now! Tyson's going psycho!” Kai groaned.

“Fine Max, just please, be quiet! And make sure we have lots and lots and LOTS of aspirin when we get back okay?” At this point Rei grabbed the phone out of Kai's hands.

“And black hair dye!” Kai grabbed the phone back, snickering to himself as Rei glared at Tala.

“Okay, whatever. Just please get back here before Tyson kills me! He's blaming me!”

“Yeah, okay Max! I'll bring the others as well.” Kai hug up as Mariah burst out.

“Why are you bringing us?!” Kai looked at her for a few seconds and stood up.

“So you can share my suffering pinkie.” Mariah growled as Kai patted her head. “Come on, we have to go now.”

“Why?” Joseph asked, rubbing his eyes. Kai held up three fingers.

“Three reasons. The first being that Tyson is gonna kill us anyway, the later we are the more painful it will be.” Kai lowered one finger. “The second is that all hotels clean up the rooms at twelve at the latest, so unless you want to have a room full of pissed off maids and hotel staff we will be gone before they get here.” Kai put down the second finger. “And finally, because I said so.” He lowered his hand and stumbled towards the door. Ozuma looked at Lee.

“All three are very valid points.”

“Translation?”

“I don't want to have to listen to a room full of women screaming at me right now.” Lee imagined it and winced.

“I hate hangovers.”

TYSONS HOSUE

“Max! Where the fuck is Kai and Rei?! I know you know where they are!” Tyson screamed at the blonde. Max sighed.

“Calm down Tyson. I don't know where they are. But they can look after themselves.” Tyson growled and stormed form the room. Max sighed and looked under his bed. “You can come out now Kenny.” Kenny crawled cautiously out from under Max's bed, glancing around edgily. He sighed when he was sure Tyson was gone.

“What has gotten into him lately?” Max sighed and shook his head.

“I don't know. But I hope Kai and Rei get back here soon. Did you get the aspirin and hair dye?” Kenny nodded.

“Yeah, I don't know why Rei wants hair dye, he's naturally black isn't he?” Max nodded, shrugging his shoulders.

“I just hope they get back soon.”

KAI & CO

“Ow, my head hurts.” Joseph complained.

“This is the lesson where you learn why you should never drink.” Ozuma muttered to him from where Lee was supporting him. Joseph nodded.

“My head still hurts though.” Mariam glanced at her brother.

“My stomach hurts Joey, stop complaining.”

“How much longer are you going to keep that down?” Mariam shook her head, turning slightly green.

“Until it comes up.”

“My head still hurts.”

“Yeah, and so does my ego! You have no idea how embarrassing this is!” Rei growled under his breath. It seemed, while drunk, Tala had taken the liberty of throwing Rei's clothes, out the window. So Rei was forced to walk home in the mini, halter neck and boots that the girls had dressed him up in. Tala spun around and grinned at him.

“Well it's a good thing we dyed your hair then, no one can recognize you.” Rei growled again and Tala turned back around, just in time to crash into Steve from the All Stars. Steve growled and grabbed Tala by the front of his shirt.

“Well if it aint the Demolition Boys. What the fuck are you doing here?” Tala just rolled his eyes.

“Well, if it aint a monkey, what are you doing out of the zoo?” Steve growled again and Tala smirked.

“I take great offence in that!” Kevin called from where he was leaning against Ian. “My bitbeast is a monkey and he is WAY better looking.” Kai sighed and grabbed Steve's arm as the rest of the All Stars, Judy included walked up to the group.

“Put Tala down Steve. I'm not in a good mood.”

“Mariah?” Emily asked, looking at her pink haired friend who was leaning against Bryan for support. “I thought you said if you ever saw Bryan again you'd claw his eyes out.” Bryan winced at the thought and Mariah shrugged.

“When I first saw him, I would have, but he was up a tree.” Emily raised an eyebrow.

“Why?”

“Coz Tala dragged me up there.” Bryan muttered. Tala grinned.

“We were safe for about ten minutes.”

“Spencer wasn't trying to kill me to begin with. Just you.” Tala shrugged, looking back at Steve.

“Can you let go of my shirt? Or are you gonna pay the dry cleaning?” Steve growled, wrenched his arm free of Kai's grip and swung at Tala. Kai's hand shot out and grabbed Steve fist about two inches away from Tala's face.

“I thought I already said this, but obviously your head is so thick you didn't hear me. So I'll say this once more.” Kai growled. “Put Tala down, I am not in a good mood.” Steve scowled but released the red head.

“Hey! Who are these two beauties?” Michael asked indicating to Mariam and the now blonde Rei. Rei growled quietly in his throat and Lee had to turn away to stop his laughter being seem. Mariam waved a little before returning her hands to her stomach.

“The names Mariam….Tala? How long?” Tala looked at his watch.

“In three seconds you can chuck.” The All Stars looked confused both Mariam and Rei grinned. “Three, two, one.” As soon as the words left Tala's lips, Mariam turned and hurried a little bit down the alley beside them before dropping to her knees and throwing up.

“Tala? How long did she keep that down?” Kai asked. Tala stopped to think.

“Uhh….since….2? Um….HOLY SHIT! We owe her $850!”

“Why? Is she okay?” Eddy asked, frowning. It was Emily who picked it up.

“Oh my god! You're all hammered!” She exclaimed. Kai winced.

“Please be quiet. And don't you dare tell Tyson!”

“Where'd the blonde chick go?” Michael asked, looking around for Rei. No one heard him and Mariam returned from the alley, wiping her mouth.

“Kai that was the vilest thing I have ever drunk! What the fuck was in that?!” Kai winced.

“Can I answer that later? It hurts to think.”

“Why do you think they're drunk Em?” Eddy asked.

“They all have bloodshot eyes. Plus I can smell it on their breath.”

“We are not, I repeat, NOT drunk!” Lee said as he shifted Ozuma a little to get feeling back into his arm.

“We WERE drunk, but we aren't now. We just have the world's biggest hangover which will get worse by the time we get back to Tyson's.” Kai muttered.

“Why will it get worse?”

“When he finds out we were drinking he'll chuck a spaz. He been really obsessively protective or some shit lately…it's really unnerving ….I'm gonna go before Tyson comes to grill me with a side of fries.” Kai muttered as he started off again, half leaning on Tala who grinned.

“Am I the only one of us who is remotely sober?” Kai stopped.

“No, YOU are the one who hasn't been to sleep yet, so the alcohol would probably still take affect, you just don't have a hangover.”

“So, why were you guys drinking anyway?” Michael asked, Judy was swearing under her breath and talking about calling Mr. D. Ozuma groaned, rubbing his eyes.

“I blame Tala.”

“So do I.” Bryan muttered. “He's the one who announced that he wanted a party and the one who raided the bar fridge in the first place.”

“He's also the one who decided to call you guys and see if you wanted to get pissed with us.” Ian added.

“Shut up Ian.” Tala said cheerfully. “And `Zuma, don't blame shit on me coz I have Flash Leopard!” Tala took the blade out and threw it into the air before catching it again. Ozuma's eyes widened.

“When the fuck did you get that?!” Tala thought back.

“When Kai was kicking everyone's ass at shot chess. I got Galmon, Galzzy, Seaborg, Falborg and Dranzer too.” Kai stopped and checked his pockets.

“Damn you wolf.” Tala opened his mouth to reply when something caught his eye across the street.

“Oh my god!!” He shouted, racing across the road, dropping Kai in the process.

“Stupid nut.” Kai muttered, sitting up.

“Uhh….what's he doing?” Emily asked.

“Ozuma, do you remember when I called you and you asked me what the fuck was that? After Tala got the phone? And I told you he was drunk but he was hyperactive anyway?” Ozuma nodded. Kai waved to Tala across the street. “There is my proof.” Kai stood up and walked across the street, the others following him. Tala was standing in front of a group of four and he was doing an excellent job of freaking them out.

“Oh my god!” Tala cried, pointing at the blonde guy. “You're short! That's so cool!! POWER TO THE SHORT PEOPLE!!”

“Wolf, stop creeping them out…go attack Spencer or something.” Tala froze.

“Now that's an idea. Hey Spence!” Kai sighed, rubbed his temples and turned back to the shocked faces of the Psyciks.

“Kai? Who was that?” Kane asked eventually.

“That,” Kai stated, pointing at Tala. “Is Tala. He is hyperactive and in need of mental help. We've tried to get it for him but it just doesn't- ow! Fucking hell wolf!” Kai cried, clutching the back of his head. He spun to face Tala who poked his tongue out at him before hiding behind Ozuma and Lee as Spence retrieved his shoe from next to Kai.

“Sorry Kai. Hey Tala! Can you swim?” Kai sighed and shook his head, wincing as pain began throbbing through it again.

“DAMN IT! I getting home, taking aspirin and going to sleep!” Tala paused safely beside Kai. Spencer had given up chasing him as it hurt to run.

“I wouldn't blame you. You guys only passed out around….say….7am?” Kai groaned and held his head.

“Next time, don't let me play shot chess!”

“You guys were drinking?” Salima asked in surprise.

“We have established this.” Dunga said. “Yes, we were drinking. We all have hangovers. We were drinking for…five hours and Mariam has the respect of all of us right now because she held down that thing Kai made for 8 hours. Kai, what the fuck was in that?” Kai sighed.

“Umm…..I think I put in vodka, blue culcurie, Heineken, uhh….vodka, scotch
….vodka…port….uhh…..some spirits….uhh….think there might have been a bit of cordial syrup…..umm….vodka…..uhh Guinness…”

“Vodka?” Tala supplied. Kai thought for a second and nodded.

“I'm pretty sure two thirds of it was vodka.”

“I drank that? God I'm gonna be sick again!” Mariam cried, rushing into the closest alley. Kai grinned slightly.

“If she's throwing up coz she knows what I put in that drink…what'll happen when I tell Max what was in his drink.” Judy cleared her throat and Kai looked at her. “It wasn't anything alcoholic…I think…umm….no there wasn't.”

“Where'd the blonde chick go?” Michael asked suddenly. As soon as the words left his mouth, Kevin dropped to the ground, laughter over taking his body. Tala wasn't much better and after a few seconds of trying to contain his laughter, he to dropped to the ground. Kai sighed and winced as a car drove by, honking its horn loudly. Kai's headache was made worse as his mobile began to ring again. Kai groaned and took it out.

“Hello?”

“Kai!” Kai winced.

“Please stop shouting Max.”

“Like I said, I'm not! If I did Ty would know I was talking to you. I'm whispering.”

“Well then whisper quieter!”

“Fine, whatever. Where are you?! Ty's going psycho…and why did Rei come home with blonde hair?” Kai grinned slightly.

“That all you saw?”

“Yeah, he was moving to fast to see anything else. He did shout out that Tala was a dead man though.”

“Okay, Max we'll be back soon. We ran into the others so there will be a lot of people. How bad is it?” There was a pause.

“Lemme put it to you this way…if you wanna live….stay outta his sight.” Kai sighed.

“You're his best friend, what the fuck is wrong with him?!” Max sighed.

“I wish I knew! He's gone psycho lately!”

“It's only been a day since he decided to go psycho.”

“Two.”

“Two then. Fact is he's insane! We should have dropped him off at the institute.”

“That's an idea…maybe you should talk to your girlfriend.” Kai opened his mouth to speak but Max cut him off. “I do pay attention to my surroundings, despite what people think. I am NOT a stupid blonde. I do realize you went on a date.” Kai blinked.

“Fooled me.”

“That was the point.” Kai heard the door being opened from Max's end.

“Max, who are you talking to?” Tyson's voice came over the phone. Kai swore silently, glancing around.

“My mum…”

“Good, I wanted to talk to her.”

“Uhh…” Kai immediately put his hand over the phone and thrust it at Judy.

“I'm not here!” Kai said, backing away. Judy raised the phone to her ear and conversed with Max and Tyson for a few minutes before hanging up and handing Kai back his phone.

“Okay…” Emily said confusion evident on her face. “Kai, are you scared of Tyson?” Kai's head jerked up.

“No, but I am not a masochist.” The others looked confused. “I have headache, I don't want it to get worse…which I know it is.” Kai sighed and shook his head, wincing as the throbbing picked up. “Better get this over with, oh, Tala, Rei says you're a dead man.” This comment only caused Kevin and Tala's laughing to increase while the others smirked. The All-stars and Psychics just looked confused and Kai sighed, walking over to the laughing Tala, bending down and drawing out several blades form his pocket.

“Wow, he was right. Flash Leopard, Dranzer, Galmon, Galzzy, Seaborg and Falborg. And now, I have Wolborg.” He put both Dranzer and Wolborg in his pocket before handing the others back to their respective owners. They then walked back to Tyson's house, Mariah and Ozuma still being supported by Bryan and Lee. Half way there Kai stumbled a little and Tala moved to support him.

“This is what you get for challenging…shit….anyone have a calculator? Uhh…13…this is what you get for challenging thirteen people to shot chess and winning. You end up being tipsy, if not totally hammered, with a hangover.”

“I blame you.” Kai muttered.

“You got out the shot chess!”

“You got me drunk in the first place.” Tala paused.

“No, I just said we needed to have a party coz Voltaire and Boris are in jail and we can charge everything to them.”

“Touché.” The rest of the walk back to Tyson's place was spent in silence. When they arrived his house, Kai crept up to the door and unlocked it. Walking in he was met with an anxious Max.

“Thank god!” Kai blinked, Max looked worn out. His face and arms were covered in scratches and bruises.

“Holy Shit Max!” Kai said, forgetting about being quiet. “What the fuck happened?!” Max shrugged.

“Tyson is very pissed off at you and Rei. Decided he needed to battle. He's been working on some new moves and hasn't gotten the kinks out of them yet.” Kai sighed and shook his head, motioning the others in the door. The others gasped when the saw the bruises Max was sporting. Obviously they were making too much noise, which is hard not to when there's around twenty five people in the one room, because the door next to them slid open. Everyone stopped and held their breaths, expecting Tyson to come out and scream at them. Instead, it was Kenny and Rei that stepped out. Rei was dressed in his usual attire, his hair dripping wet but back to the original black and Kenny was glancing around nervously. Rei's eyes met Tala's and Rei unconsciously twitched, the urge to wring Tala's neck was very powerful bu7t Rei ignored it, instead he walked over to Kai.

“I patched Max up as best I could. Kai, you seriously need to beat the crap out of Tyson.” Kai nodded grimly and turned to Kenny and Max.

“Where the fuck is Tyson?” Kai asked. Everyone could tell he was seething and no one wanted to be in his way.

“In the dojo.” Kenny whimpered. Kai nodded.

“Right, you can come and watch, or stay in the lounge. Either way Granger is gonna be in a lot of pain!” Kai growled, pushing his headache out of his mind and stalking angrily towards the dojo. He opened the door. Tyson was training continuously. Kai knew the others were following him and he could have cared less. He quickly decided whether to listen to what Tyson had to say or just do something about his attitude. He quickly chose the latter and grabbed a spare kendo stick and stalked quietly over to Tyson. He didn't bother alerting the owner of dragoon to his presence. He just swung. The stick hit Tyson in the arm and he swung around to face Kai.

“Hiwartari. You're back.”

“Fuck off Tyson. You've really been pissing me off.” Kai growled, swinging at Tyson again. “Just what the fuck is your problem?! You've been close to psychotic ever since we met Jo.” Tyson stopped blocking Kai's attacks and started retaliating.

“She's dangerous! I don't trust her!”

“Why?!” Kai growled, blocking Tyson's attacks and swinging back with his own.

“I just get a bad feeling around her.” Kai disarmed Tyson.

“Bullshit!” Kai snapped as he continued to assault, leaving Tyson to dodge. “There's a reason you don't fucking trust her and you aren't telling us!” Tyson managed to get under Kai's attacks and disarmed him; Kai instantly retaliated with a punch to Tyson's jaw.

“You're right, I have a reason and I'm not telling>” Tyson growled back, unaware of everyone who was watching. “Here's a question. Where the fuck were you and Rei?”

“Like hell I have to answer you Granger!” Kai snarled. “But if you must know, we were with some friends getting pissed. Now WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM?!!?” Kai performed a roundhouse kick which connected with Tyson's stomach, sending him flying into the wall. Tyson growled and stood.

“I'm watching out for the team.”

“You're a fucking Looney Tyson! I am team captain and I can safely say that blading against your teammates will help. But injuring them while doing so IS NOT WATCHING OUT FOR THE TEAM!” Tyson growled and through a punch at Kai. Kai blocked.

“What the hell would you know about watching out for the team?! All you ever do is order us around and yell! And when we actually need training, you and Rei are out getting pissed off your ass!!” Kai's anger rose and he uppercut Tyson's jaw before kicking him into the wall again. Before Tyson could recover Kai pinned him to the wall.

“You listen the fuck up Granger. I am captain of this team and I will remain so until Mr. Dickenson sees me unfit to lead. If you have a complaint with the way I prepare you guys for battles and look after this team, take it up with him. But at NO TIME do you EVER injure your teammate in practice. Do I make myself clear?” Kai hissed, his eyes burning with rage. Tyson glared back at him.

“Crystal.” He growled through clenched teeth.

“Good. Then get the fuck under and shower and get clean. Then get the fucking stick out of you ass coz we have company, and you have pissed me off beyond my limits.” Kai released him and walked away. He paused at the door. “And Tyson.” Tyson glared at him “If I catch you doing any shit like this again, I will personally make sure you're in the intensive care ward. Don't fuck with me!” Kai left the room, slamming the door behind him. Outside, Kai sighed and leant against the wall. He knew the other teams were staring at him. But he couldn't give a fuck. Eventually it was Tala that spoke.

“You spent WAY to much time around Boris you know?” Kai growled and little in response and his eyes snapped open. You could tell he was pissed off just from the fire in his eyes.

“Granger is a fucking spoilt brat who never takes things seriously. Obviously he doesn't think that hurting a teammate while training is anything bad.”

“Chill Phoenix, we never said you were wrong.” Bryan said soothingly. “But right now you're a little scary. So how about we all go sit down and you can take your frustration out on Tala.” Tala protested and Spencer elbowed him in the ribs. Kai smirked a little before leading the way to the lounge room. After everyone was settled, Kai turned to Max.

“Where did you get hit Max?” Max shrugged.

“Arms and face mostly. It really isn't that bad Kai and Rei already took care of everything.” Kai nodded and held his head in his hands.

“I am NEVER playing shot chess again!”
