Leaving

 

 

 

Kai paced in front of his desk at the top floor of the Biovault corporate building, which now trained the next generation of beybladers. Even though people were weary at first, well after what Boris and Voltaire had done previously people had the right to be weary and suspicious and since Kai was Voltaire grandson then that made them even wearier. However, with the help of Tyson and the BBA, Biovault soon had many young people joining. Kai stopped pacing and picked up the photo frame and smiled remembering the day the photo had been taken.

 

Flashback

 

 

“Come on Kai pretty please” moaned Tyson trying to persuade Kai to stop training and go out. Kai rolled his eyes and grunted.

 

“Tyson get lost. I'm busy so go and annoy someone else” replied Kai coldly. He was not interested in going out and spending any length of time with Tyson when it wasn't necessary. He wanted to forget his longing to be with Tyson and he wanted to move on.

 

“Please Kai, even you need a break” Kai rolled eyes again. He knew how stubborn Tyson was when he wanted something, and then again so was Kai.

 

//Dranzer explain to me why I love this boy?\\ Kai asked the phoenix.

 

/Well Master because he's your equal and he's the one who kept trying to get close to you and help you\ answered Dranzer.

 

“Fine” Kai grunted. Tyson jumped up and down like a hyper 5 year old who is going to an amusement park for the first time.

 

End of Flashback

 

That day had been the best in Kai's life. They had spent the day wandering round the town and talking. Tyson had found out more about Kai on that particular day then he had ever done the three years they had known each other. At sunset Kai took Tyson to Angels Cove, which was a small part of the beach that only Kai knew about, and kissed him. When Tyson had kissed back Kai had wondered whether or not it was all a dream, but it wasn't. The sound of the door knocking brought Kai out of his train of thought.

 

“Come in” responded Kai. The door opened and Tyson walked in. Kai was confused when he saw Tyson's travel bag over his shoulder. Tyson walked over to Kai, tears trickling out of beautiful blue eyes, and kissed him. Kai wrapped his arms round Tyson, but Tyson pulled away. Kai reached out to wipe away the tears but Tyson smacked his hand away.

 

“Kai I'm leaving and I have to go alone. I so sorry but I can't be with you” Tyson told him looking away from Kai, too ashamed to look at Kai. Kai was hurt. What's going on? Kai thought.

 

“Tyson tell me what's wrong”

 

“It's nothing to do with you so just butt out okay. I just have to go” Tyson yelled and with that he turned on his heel and walked away shutting the door behind him. Kai rushed to the nearest elevator and ran outside, hoping to catch Tyson but he found that he was too late. Tyson was now where to be seen.

Tyson watched Kai as he tried to find him. Tyson knew that Kai would never find him. Tyson's magnificent white wings surrounded him as small droplets of tears rolled out of his eyes.

 

//Dragoon should I have told Kai about what I really am\\ Tyson asked his faithful Dragon. Dragoon shuck his head.

 

/Master you should not involve him or anyone else. You know what Demon will do\ Dragoon replied. Tyson nodded. He knew exactly what Demon was like.

 

“I'm sorry Kai but this is for your own protection” Tyson whispered before flying away. Kai had the feeling he was being watched but when he looked up he saw no one except a white feather lying on the floor. Kai bent down and picked it up. He knew that Tyson would return. The question was…when?
