He pulled back and blushed. I smiled slyly and said, "well Tyson, what was that all about?"

Tyson stared at Kai then tried to move backwards in fear, but he just met up with the wall. Kai made his face neutral and moved closer to Tyson in order to sooth him. Kai reached out a hand to stroke Tyson's face but Tyson whimpered in fear that Kai might hit him. Kai lifted Tyson chin so Tyson was looking at him properly and smiled gently. "Don't worry Tyson, I won't hurt you or shout at you, I just want to know if your ok, you haven't exactly been yourself these past two weeks." Tyson laid a hand over Kai's and smiled slightly. "Thank you Kai, It's just that Canada holds a lot of bad memories for me and I just keep reliving them when I got to sleep." Kai moved his hand and pulled Tyson onto his lap to sooth the younger boy, as he had started crying again. "Sssh, don't worry Tyson, you can tell me when your ready, it helps to talk about your problems with a friend or someone you trust." Tyson nodded into Kai's chest and clung to the Phoenix like he was his lifeline. Kai faintly blushed at the distraught Dragon's actions but didn't stop him. About 5 minutes later Tyson stopped crying and just held onto Kai. Kai rubbed Tyson back to sooth him, then sat back and dried Tyson's face, before saying, "You ok now? Do you want to talk?" Tyson nodded and gripped Kai's hand for comfort. "Well it started when my mum died when I was about six, I was born in Montreal(A/N: ok that's where my boyfriend lives so I added it to the story but don't worry they're in Toronto another of my fav places in Canada) And moved to Bay City shortly after my mum died. I have a sister but I haven't seen her since mum's funeral.

"Dad didn't want to split us up but he had to to make sure we would be safe from the person who murdered my mum." Kai held his angel tighter as Tyson continued to talk. " My sister Raven was sent to live with my aunt cherry and I was sent to live with my Grampa as you already know. My dad continued to do his Archaeology and would stop by every so often, but it wasn't enough to make me feel like a normal kid again. I was devastated because I was the one who saw the person kill my mum. Me, no one else just me. Whenever I hear Canada mentioned the night of my mums murder flashes through my mind, that's why I collapsed when Mr Dickinson announced we'd be coming here.

"I didn't complain or refuse though cos I knew we wouldn't be going to Montreal. I just wish I could forget what happened and go back to being myself but I can't it always finds ways of getting back in my mind. That's why I know where to go like what Restraunts are the best, where all the best blading shops are, where to go for the park and stuff like that, I wish I could ignore the past but I can't and I'm only telling you cos well I like you, a lot, more than like I love you even." Kai was shocked by this but squeezed Tyson's hand in response and kissed Tyson's forehead. "I love you too Tyson, and don't worry I won't tell the other's about your past and you don't have to until your ready. So for now just sleep." Tyson mumbled "ok" then snuggled down in Kai's lap drifting off to sleep again.
