"That's it I'm leaving! I'm sick of this shit you sprout on and on and on and on and on and on about! This is bullshit and you know it!"
Tyson threw the door against its hinges so hard it bounced back and hit his hand only to hit the wall again.
"Tyson…"
"NO! Don't you 'Tyson...' me! I've had enough of this crap! If I wanted to be with that bitch then I would be! Don't think there hasn't been plenty of times she's offered! But you refuse to accept the fact that I am with you! So I've had enough! I'm leaving and nothing you can say or do will stop me!"
"…"
"Good fucking bye!"
And that would have been it, that always was 'The End' for them, that one line that usually hovered in the air, in the empty motionless room while Kai just stood there, staring at the abused door and still trying to make the words spill out of his mouth and into open air. But the words never came; it was like they were incased it the coldest ice and not even Dranzer's flame could crack it. But this would be it; he could feel it in his bones. This would be a true goodbye for him and the expressive Tyson if he didn't… if he couldn't…
The door creaked ominously while Tyson struggled to pull his coat on. This was the last straw for him; he worked all day and came home only to find that bitch Hillary had planted another little surprise in their bed, and who should come home as he was throwing it in the trash but Kai. Certainly this thing had happened before but every time Kai thought it meant Tyson was cheating on him with her. Hillary was determined to break the couple up, it was bad enough that she'd been doing it for so long, but worse that Kai let it work. For all Tyson knew Kai wanted to break up with him, he probably though Tyson was trash, not even worth his time!
"Don't bother coming after me, you asshole! I'm not going to talk to you ever again! You always assume the worst; you've never placed an inch of trust in me! Well I'm sick and tired of having my heart ripped open for you! So go and find a different toy to play with!"
The raven haired boy threw something small and metallic at Kai, it missed by about a meter, hit the wall and fell, spinning to the ground. Kai's eyes glanced at the object; it was an attack ring, but a miniature one; one that wasn't for a Beyblade but for Tyson, a proof of their love. The words choked themselves on Kai's tongue, twisted and twined and filled the back of his throat with a chalky feeling.
"You just stand there! Like you think I give a damn anymore! Well I don't! I'm sick of this shit Kai! I'm sick of… of it all!" Heavy tears trailed their way down Tyson's cheeks as he stumbled and grabbed his wallet and keys. Then the door was slamming behind him and Kai was left in their apartment. Alone.
He was sick of being alone unnecessarily. Not when the best thing in his life was crying and running away.
Not when… not when… when he could stop Tyson… stop him this once… at least. Because he needed him… needed him a little more… needed to be with Tyson just for a little longer than forever.
With a bone wrecking breath and almost no thought Kai raced to the door slamming it on its hinges himself. He'd apologies to the wood later.
"Tyson! Please! Please don't go!"
Tyson was already half-way down the stairs, he didn't even stop. "It's too late for that Kai!"
Kai jumped one of the stairwells and tried to stop his heart from jumping out his chest, his hands were clammy, he was almost hyperventilating, the words were stuck to the roof of his mouth and he couldn't breath and the same time. His stomach flipped and he was blind with fear. Fear that he wouldn't get to his Tyson in time, fear that Tyson would already no longer love him.
The grey haired teen vaulted the rails and landed just in front of the crying beyblader. "Please I…. I'm…"
Tyson's eyes widened as Kai choked on the words, the bigger teen grabbed Tyson's shoulders to steady himself.
"I'm… sorry. I'm sorry, alright Tyson. If the only way I could be with you was in my dreams than I would dream forever… you're the only person I love and… I know that I overreacted. I… I keep saying nothing… and it hurts you… and I don't mean it to hurt, but I just can't seem to say anything at all."
Tyson shed a few more tears, lips moving as he tried to speak. This wasn't what Kai usually did… it was like he knew that this time, it had been for keeps. Kai hadn't ever said sorry. He'd never admitted he'd hurt Tyson and he knew it… he'd never told him…
"Shhh." Kai drew the raven haired teen closer and wrapped his arms around him, burying his head in Tyson's shoulder and inhaling the sweet smell that was Tyson. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, my little tornado."
Tyson pulled back and opened his mouth to say something, sniffing and swallowing. He probably looked like hell, his eyes and face all red from crying.
Kai hushed him with an almost bruising kiss, melting his near feverish lips on Tyson's with a shaky breath and tasting the sweetness of Tyson's lips and the salty wetness of the boy's tears as an almost after-taste.
And it was alright, because that was what was meant to happen. It wasn't meant to be hard to say sorry. Because he was sorry and as long as Kai had Tyson, forever, nothing else mattered.
Nothing.

Sweet notes: Is it just me, or do I feel my writer's block going?
Kai: It's going?
Sweets: yeah…
Tyson: NOT GOOD!
Kai: Run!
Sweets: hey!!!! Get back here… I was just gonna say thank you!
