The Fine Line Between Love And Hate

Chapter One

"Promise, you won't leave me?" You ask quietly as he holds you tightly against his body, gently smoothing back your hair occasionally.

"I would never...want to be with YOU!!!" He growls out as he yanks your hair back, forcing your body away from his.

"But...but why?!I thought..." You start to choke out as tears spring from your eyes.

"You thought what? Thought I loved you? Heh, how pathetic! Who would want to love YOU?" He snarls out as a malicious gleam comes to his eyes.

"Why would anyone ever love you (YOUR NAME)?" A second voice says.

"(YOUR NAME)..."

"(YOUR NAME)."

"(YOUR NAME)!!!!"

"(YOUR NAME), you alright?" A pink haired girl asks. Your eyes start to focus and you get a better look at her, she has baby pink mid length hair, and sapphire blue eyes. She wore a sleeveless ¾ white top, tight black hipster trousers and knee high boots. You notice she has a silver nose stud, silver dangling earrings with hearts at the end of them, and a silver locket for accessories.

"Mimi, back up let (YOUR NAME) have some air to breathe you baka." A second voice says in a strict tone.

You sit up and look over in the dark corner where the girl had been leaning. She stood up to her full height and you saw her grey eyes and black shoulder length hair. She wore red plaid bondage pants, black fishnet D-Ring shirt and steel toe combat boots. Also a bunch of bracelets were adorned on her wrists, a silver cross choker was around her neck and her ears had silver hoops in them.

You manage a weak smile, "Thanks Mirai."

Mirai nods and looks at you concerned, "Another nightmare (YOUR NAME)?"

You were about to respond but Mimi cut you off. "OH NO!! A NIGHTMARE?! (YOUR NAME) was it scary?!?"

"It wouldn't be called a nightmare if it wasn't scary you baka!" Mirai said dryly.

You snicker at the two; they were extremely amusing when they started to bicker. "Ladies, aren't we supposed to be doing something right now?" You remark from your bed.

"Hmm, my schedule says annoy the shit out of 'Rai." Mimi says grinning.

"Mimi?" Mirai asked sweetly.

"Yes?" Mimi answered back in the same tone.

"How many times must I tell you?! My name is MIRAI!!!" Mirai yelled.

"Both of you shut up! We're supposed to be escaping!! Not causing attention to ourselves!!!" You whisper harshly.

"Well we would be escaping from this god forsaken place, if SOMONE would get out of bed." Mimi remarked dryly.

"Oh...sorry about that..." You say sheepishly as you hop out of bed and start to pull an outfit together quickly. You grab a pair of jeans, sneakers and a long sleeve shirt that says 'The Best Candy Comes From Strangers.' You run quickly into the bathroom and get changed.

You walk back out and grab your Beyblade Venus and put her securely in your pocket. "Okay, you guys ready to go?" You say grinning.

"Guys?" Mimi asks. "But I thought we were girls..."

Mirai rolls her eyes, "It's a figment of speech and I have Hades with me." Mirai says showing you her Beyblade.

"And I have Starfire!" Mimi chirps digging out her Beyblade from her pocket.

"Right, then we are ready to get the hell out of this place." You mutter as you break open the window. Mirai hands you the blankets that she and Mimi had made a rope out of and you securely tie it to the post of your bed.

"I'll go first." Mirai says looking out through the window. "That way we'll know if it's safe or not."

"But you could get hurt!" Mimi quietly voices her concern.

Mirai shrugs and starts to descend through the window. You and Mimi wait and occasionally glance out the window. You're tired of waiting so you stick your head out of the window and yell as quietly as you can, "Mirai?"

You see a flash of silver and you turn you head towards the direction it came from. There, standing proudly is Mirai waving frantically for you to come down. You nod and turn back to Mimi who is look anxiously at you.

"She's okay. I'm going next and you go last okay Mimi?" You whisper to her feeling nervous. It WAS a long way down if you fell.

She nods and motions for you to start moving. You take a deep breath and start to climb down the hand made rope. Half way down you were starting to feel less edgy and started to move down quicker, ignoring Mirai's shouts telling you to go slower. Near the bottom you miss the rope and start to fall you hear a loud 'Oh shit!' and feel your body come in contact with the ground...or at least you thought it was the ground. You never realized how warm and soft it was...

"That's because you're NOT lying on the ground! Get off me (YOUR NAME)!" Mirai grunts from underneath you.

Startled from voicing your thoughts out loud you roll off Mirai with a thud.

Smiling sheepishly you help her up, "Sorry about that didn't realize how much I wanted to get away from here."

She snorts and starts to motion for Mimi to come down. Mimi slowly starts to come down but stops half way down.

"What is she doing?!" You whisper aggravated.

You watch in morbid fascination as Mimi takes a knife and cuts the rope she is currently on and starts to fall. Mirai apparently ready for this catches Mimi and sets her down, quickly looking for any injuries.

"I'm fine!" Mimi snaps.

Mirai straightens and mutters something about ungrateful pink brats?

You walk over to the pair and grab their arms with a quick jerk. "Come on! I want to go NOW!!"

Mirai nods and starts to run, while holding both your hand and Mimi's so neither of you gets lost. Reaching the gate Mirai bends down and uses her hand as a step. Nodding you take a running start and jump using Mirai's hand as an extra boost to reach the top of the gate. Making sure you were secure you lock hands with Mimi to pull her up. Both of you reach a hand down to pick Mirai up and you all jump down from the gate.

"Well that was easy." Mimi says smiling cattishly.

"I'm just glad to be away from the...Abbey..." Mirai says with a shudder.

You smile at both of them, they were your best friends and you wouldn't trade them for the world. "We did it..." You say quietly.

Mimi pulls you into a comforting hug, "'Course we did! We are unstoppable!!"

"(YOUR NAME)?" Mirai questions.

"Yeah 'Rai?" You ask looking over Mimi's shoulder.

"Didn't you have another plan that you wanted to tell me or er us about?" Mirai questions quickly changing the me into an us from the deadly glare she was receiving from Mimi.

You smile wickedly as you start to walk away from the Abbey with Mimi on your right and Mirai on your left. "Yes, I do have another plan. And it's called revenge."

Mimi smirks, "Revenge on whom?"

"Let me guess, the bastard who left you here all alone." Mirai states looking at you through the corner of her eye.

You grin at Mirai, "You always were a smart one Mirai. Yes, we'll be getting revenge on..."

Page One - Tala Valkov, the red haired, blue eyed bishounen that left you for the Demolition Boys.

Page Two - Kai Hiwatari, the silver haired, red eyed bishounen that left you for Bladebreakers, his current team.

Since Kage lost the A/N for the end of this chapter there won't be one...however a question that both authors would like to know is which character do you think Kage or Fallen created? Tell us in your review!

Oh, and for your concerns. Our characters will have NO LOVE life at all with the other characters in this story, because we know how annoying it is to have two made up friends who just happen to like the guy you denied! Not to mention this story is about YOUR love life NOT our characters!
