Beyblade Fan Fiction ❯ Together ❯ The Airport ( Chapter 9 )
"okay now, let's see gate 1-4 left, 5-10 right, restaurant, café, shops, aah here it is. Information desk straight forward." She turned away from the signs and sweat dropped when she saw the information desk right in front of her nose. She really needed to buy glasses. She went to the one person that was least busy. "Hello and welcome, how may I help you?" "Yeah hi, I'd like to buy a ticket to Belgium, you don't happen to have a vacant seat on any of today's flights?" "Hang on miss I'll check. First or second class? When do you plan to return?" "Second please, and I'd like a one-way ticket." The woman began typing away on her computer. After five minutes of silence she finally answered. "I'm sorry, but there are no first nor second class tickets for Belgium available for today. I can put you on the plane that leaves tomorrow morning 9 a.m., but you have to be here 2 hours before we depart are you okay with that?" "Of course, I'll buy that ticket." "Very well miss, good day, and have a safe trip."
Paris exited the building, she had hoped that she could've left America today, but tomorrow morning was ok. She decided against a hotel and wanted to sleep in the park. She knew that it would sooth her better than four rooms surrounding her. To find a comfy spot wasn't had.
Night fell quickly and Paris couldn't sleep. She found herself looking at the moon thinking about her old life before her trip to America. One person kept spooking through her mind: ray. She remembered the night she left. She missed him terribly. With one last gaze at the moon she closed her eyes drifting of into a restless sleep.
Little did she know that, on the other side of the world, ray was watching at the moon aswell. Max got kind of worried, because ray had been in some sort of trance for the past half hour. "Eum guys, don't you think we should get ray out of lala land?" "Nah, he'll be fine, give him a few more minutes, he's happy, where ever he is. Probably thinking about his old friends." Ray kept thinking about the last words Paris had said a year ago. -I think we'll meet each other a lot sooner than that, I just know it in my heart. We'll be together again, and I'm never going to let her go again." He was disrupted from his deep thoughts by none other than kai hiwatari. "She's special isn't she?" "I don't know what you're talking about." "I think you do know. But I didn't come here to find out who she is. But I do know that there is only one thing that can consume a man's mind so much." "And what's that?" "A woman you love with all your heart." "And how would you know that kai?" he quickly changed the subject "eum, that doesn't matter. Get some sleep; we leave first thing tomorrow morning."
Ray didn't want to push the subject because he didn't want to piss kai of. But he fell asleep pondering on how kai could've gotten such wisdom about girls. As far as he knew kai tended to stay as far away from girls as possible. He would try and coax some more information out of him tomorrow, because kai seemed to be fast asleep already.
Paris woke up at 6.30 in the morning. -Perfect, gives me enough time to freshen up and eat a fine breakfast. - The check-in and boarding went smoothly and a few hours later she set foot on Belgian ground. Now she felt that she did belong here. Could it be that the letter was right? Had she been destined to be here? There wasn't much time to ponder about it for a familiar looking woman approached her. "Paris itahana?" "You're the lady I met in America. But that can't be." "You are partially right. My name is legna, we have met in America, but we met twice remember." "You sent me that blade. May I ask why?" "Didn't you read the letter? It was made for you" "but why was it made for me? Why was I destined to be here? How come you know my last name? And why the hell am I asking all these questions?" at the sound of the word hell legna flinched. "Relax Paris, all will be revealed in time. But let me give you these first. She was given a map of two cities: Brussels and Bruges. There was also a train ticket and a small amount of money. "I must leave you now, go to Bruges, there is a hotel not far from a blading gym there, in case you want to train a bit, goodbye." And she was gone. "Well, guess I know where I have to go."
