Beyblade Fan Fiction ❯ Troubled Times For Us.... ❯ The beginning.... ( Chapter 1 )

[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]
I think that I went all-out on this chapter! It’s the most that I have written for a chapter, ever! I guess it’s due to the boredom of a teen-ager… I’m in my grandmother’s house up in Arizona, so I’ve got basically nothing to do until Friday, when my mom gets paid and we go places, also I can’t wait until Saturday or Sunday, so I can finally go home!

Disclaimer: I’m doing this once, and only once, since I don’t feel like typing it out for every chapter… I DO NOT own Bey Blade, though we all wish that we did. The only person I own is a made up that comes later on in this story, and I’m not telling you when! Also, she will be a kick-ass ((Excuse my French.)) Bey Blader! Yeah! How ever, she will be a bad guy, sad huh…
~~~~~~~~~
The dual-hair teen sits at his dinner table, a plate of food set in front of him. “I just don’t know any more.” His head is bowed, and his eyes are down cast, as though he were being chastised, which isn’t the case.
This teen had to leave the dojo in Japan, once again; leaving the one person he cared about above all behind.
He then started to remember all the Bey Battles they had, and felt even more lost than before. His heart ached with each memory, and he soon came to resent every thing around him.
The boy then stood up, pushing his plate aside. “I am sorry, Sana, but I am un-able to eat. I’m sure what you have cooked is delicious, but, I can’t stand to swallow anything at the moment.”
This is the 8th day in a row that he hadn’t eaten a thing. Each time the ach in his heart grew bigger; he became weaker mentally. Eventually, his mental instability had caused bad physical habits, and he became unable to smile, eat, or even take care of himself. It had soon become a chore just to walk to his room, having to use the wall for most of his support.
Today, at this moment, he realized why. He needed to see him, the one he cared about most of all. Otherwise, there would be no recovery. He, of course, would never go back there. For one thing, it would be too hard to travel, for another; it would hurt his pride a lot.
“Sana, I can’t walk…” He managed to say, before he collapsed on the floor, completely unconscious. The girl he had referred to rushed forward and picked up her young master, who had wasted away to near nothing.
“Master? Master, please, wake up!” She yelled, starting to get hysterical. Her white blonde hair fell into her face, keeping her Master’s face hidden, all but the blue war paint stripes on his left cheek. ((I bet you can’t guess who it is… -.-))
The rest of the servants came running, all panicked, all but one. A 60-year-old male walked up with quick powerful strides, his out fit one of a butler’s. He looked his age, his graying hair not moving, from the gel that was used, and his dark gray eyes that could be gentle, or fierce, looked like they could pierce you soul.
“Sana, put him down, and call the doctor, or 911. I really hope that it isn’t to late, he hasn’t eaten for little more than a week.” After the hysterical 16-year-old Caucasian girl put Kai down, the old man carefully picked him up. “I’m going to need a damp, cool washcloth, a tub of cold-cool water, and some one to open the door. The rest of you should go and greet those who are yet to come!” His voice is booming and powerful.
Sana left to call the hospital, a female 20-year-old left for the washcloth and water, and a male 30-year-old followed the butler-ish looking man to their Master’s living quarters. The male of 30 years opened the door and the butler-ish looking old man walked in, putting Kai down on the.
“Leave us at once! I want only those who I have sent for to come in here, and then they are to leave as well!” He shouted fiercely to the 30-year-old who nodded and left the room quickly.
“I will not bother you.” The man said timidly, for the 60 year old is very scary to him at the moment.
As soon as the younger of the two servants left, the butler quickly pulled off Kai’s outer garments, having undressed his master before, and walked over to the dresser. He then pulled out a white shirt with light gray vertical strips and a light gray pair of pants, both garments are light in material. He had felt Kai’s forehead earlier that day, and he had been getting a fever. At the moment, he is more than certain that his Master’s fever had grown, and had soon became a terrible one.
Then man then dressed his Master in the garments he had gotten him. After he was certain that Kai’s clothing is comfortable to the boy, he put Kai under the covers and brushed all the hair of his eyes with his right hand. “Master, please, don’t die on us!” He whispered quietly as a knock came from the door.
“Come in.” The man said to the closed door and he watched as the female of 20 years walked in with a metal black and red tub, holding a gallon of water, with a black washcloth draped over the side. “Sir, the doctor will be here soon. I must go greet him. I have told him that Kai hasn’t eaten yet, or at all for the past week or so, since I felt it necessary.” She put the tub down and bowed, leaving the room.
The old man dipped the washcloth in the tub when a hand wrapped around his arm. “Please.” Kai then winced in pain. “I don’t need a doctor.” His voice is rough and hard to understand, since it is filled with pain, and is only a whisper. “Please, bring him to me. Bring me Tyson…” Then, his strength left him once more and he collapsed back onto the pillow.
The man looked at his master and sighed. “Stubborn boy that you are. How ever, I will get you this Tyson person, he seems to be the cause of your pain.” He then rung out the water in the washcloth and folded it up, finally, he put it to Kai’s forehead, and he could feel the heat subsiding a little already.
The doctor then rushed in, a bag of things in his right hand, his white coat unclasped and billowing out around him. “I herd that you have an emergency situation here. I hope that I can be of assistance.” The doctor, whose name is Mr. Lock, then sat down his bag and bent over Kai, the butler moving out of his way.
“Our Master hasn’t eaten for 8 days, he had a fever this morning, but refused to go to a doctor. Can you tell me what’s wrong?” The old man informed the doctor as he stepped back some to let him work.
“Yes, he is suffering from mal-nutrition. I think that if we can get him to swallow something, he will be fine with some bed-rest, and a few days to re-cooperate.” The doctor said after checking Kai’s pulse, and temperature. “He might have a small case of the flu brought on by stress and lack of him taking care of himself. I think that he will be fine. I’ve brought some thing to get vitamins and nutrition into his system, even a few calories so he doesn’t waist away.” He then opened his bag once more and pulled out a few metal bars, 2 plastic bags that drip water into your arms at the hospital, and two tubes with needles at the end.
“I’ll just need your permission for the treatment, since you seem to be the oldest and wisest of all the servants and such.” He laughed as he stood up and started to put together the stand, since he is sure the man will say yes.
“If it will keep my Master alive, then yes.” He said and left the room, letting the doctor do what ever is needed.
The doctor then put the plastic bags, which had what Kai needed on the stand, and put the tubing into the bag. After that was complete, he let the liquid run until all the air was out of the tube and put the needle part back on. He then grabbed Kai’s left arm, since the boy’s right side is facing the wall, and stuck the needle into the vein, and the pulling it back out and taking the needle off. He put the plastic tube back into Kai’s arm and put the tape over it to keep it on. “Yep, you should be all right.” The doctor said before he left. ((I’m not all that sure as to if that is how they do that in the hospitals, but that’s the only way I can think of to get that done…))
Walking out into the hall, he ran into the man of 60 years and gave him a slip of paper. “There is the bill. Also, you’ll need some one to watch him and change the bags when the first is gone. If he runs out, for some strange reason, before my next visit, call me up. I left my bag in there which has more of those plastic bags, all numbered. Please use the ones with the lower numbers first since they have a higher concentrate of what is needed. The higher the number is, the fewer vitamins and water is in the bag. He needs a lot, though I’m pretty sure that the concentrate is just right, and will need less and less later on. I’ll see you when he should be better.”
The man looked at the slip and nodded, it is a reasonable price. “I will give you the money if you can wait 10 or 20 minutes, if not, I’ll have it sent to you by mail.” The doctor then nodded and the butler went back into the room. He came out with Kai’s wallet, and pulled out the correct amount of money.
“That will be all.” The doctor said and bowed, taking the money and leaving. The butler then walked back into the room and looked at Kai, who looked so sad and small that he wanted to cry. His brave and formidable Master is now reduced to lying in bed and taking medicine. “Don’t worry, I’ll bring you Tyson.”
~~~~~~~~~Tyson’s POV, the day after Kai’s collapse~~~~~~~~~

The bluenett sits up in his bed, billowy white night shirt is revealed as the covers fall away. He yawns and stretches, scratching his head afterwards in slight confusion over his dream. “I wonder what it means?” He asked himself as he pondered over that night’s dream, or nightmare, which ever you would prefer to call it.

~~~~~~~~~Flash Back Dream~~~~~~~~~
Tyson stands in a dark room, cheers are all around him, and a spot light illuminates him and a circle below him, his shadow is focused right below him. The cheers become louder, and he realizes that a Bey Blade is in his hand.
“I-I won?” A voice says in front of him, so familiar, yet he couldn’t quite put his finger on whom it belongs to.
“Yeah, you won.” The words so strange came from his mouth, and he didn’t even realize that he had said them. ‘What am I talking about?! What is going on here???!!!’ He thought to himself as his body acted on it’s own accord and moved him around the ring to the other side. He holds out his hand and the person shakes it. The hand he had grabbed felt familiar as well.
“Who are you?” His voice had finally found out that it didn’t work on it’s own. The light shifted slightly so that the clothing and mouth of the boy is shown, along with the top of Tyson’s head. The boy smiled a familiar smile, but Tyson still couldn’t figure out who he was.
“Why, don’t you remember me, or has it been to long?” The boy asked, his voice familiar as well. “I’m---”
Then the sound stopped, and everything went black, and Tyson could no longer see anything. He opened his mouth and shouted. “Where am I?” Only his voice was from when he was five. “Where am I?” The repeat seemed to mock him, for it is his echo. “Who is there?” Then his voice came back at him, mocking him once more. “Who is there?” Only this time, it was that of an older person’s, some one who wasn’t him, but some one else.
“Tyson, look over there.” Then, a pair of hands grabbed him and turned him around, ghost hands, since they weren’t attached to anything.
The five year old Tyson moved where the hands put him, and he saw Kai, only Kai wasn’t young like Tyson is, he is older, about 25 or so. “Kai! Kai, wait up!” The little boy legs that Tyson now possessed couldn’t carry him fast enough, and Kai disappeared. Then, Hilary and Kenny showed up.
“Good bye, Tyson. I’ll miss you.” They both said at the same time, and then they left as well, no matter how hard Tyson tried to run to catch up to them. Then, the dream ended.
~~~~~~~~~After Tyson woke up~~~~~~~~~

“That was strange, and who was strong enough to beat me at Bey Blading? Also, why did he seem so familiar?” After thinking on these 2 questions for a while, he shrugged, finding no answers, and stood up. His stomach growled and he smiled.

“Guess that means it’s time for breakfast.” Tyson then got dressed in his usual clothing and walked out of his room to the smell of eggs, sausage, and toast. “Smells really good…” He is now practically drooling over the smells coming from the kitchen.

“What’s up?” Gramps’s voice said, loudly over the sound of the splattering grease in the pan due to the eggs and sausage cooking. “Breakfast is almost done, so just pull up a chair and wait a few more seconds.” Gramps replied and pulled the sausages off the pan with the grilling scissor utensil. ((I can’t remember what it’s called…))

“I’m starved, so I can’t wait.” Tyson then sat down on a chair at the table and Gramps put the food down, even the toast and the eggs were done by the time Tyson dragged himself over to the table to sit down.

Before Tyson could even think of pulling the food onto his plate, a knock at the door came and Gramps stood up. “Now you stay here, I would like to think that you wouldn’t eat anything with out me telling you not to, but that’s not the case.” Tyson groaned in annoyance and leaned back in his chair.

Gramps stood up and walked out to the front door and opened it. “Yes? What do you need?” His voice is polite, but Gramps was really very annoyed at their breakfast being disrupted.

“I’m here as a messenger to Master Tyson. Master Kai sent me to fetch him, as he put it. How ever, I see that I have reached the wrong house, as you cannot be the father of such a young child. Unless of course, you are a grandfather?” The voice is that of a British Gentleman, from the 1700’s.

Gramps stood aside and waved the man in. “I am his grandfather, but I’m called Gramps, so just call me that since I can’t think of something else for you to call me.” ((Actually, I can’t think of anything to call him…)) He pulled out a seat for the man at the table, next to Tyson.

“Thank you for your hospitality. I hope that I can be forgiven for interrupting your breakfast.” He said and sat down in the chair indicated. “You must be Master Tyson.” He said, disapproving greatly on the boy sitting to his left. “Master Kai has said great things about you.”

Tyson blushed at the thought of him being great, and the fact that his hair is sticking up every which way from him being asleep. “Well, I’m not ‘great’, I may be ok, but not great.” He said sheepishly. “So, how is Kai?”

The man frowned at the question Tyson had asked. “He is not so good. Recently, he has fallen ill. We have no idea why, but James, his closest friend, thinks that it has something to do with you. Kai has sent me to get you and bring you back to his mansion. We can leave whenever you like. You have no need for anything except a tooth brush, we can give you some of Kai’s clothing, and you can use a room of his.” He sighed and took a sip of a glass of water that had mysteriously been placed in front of him. “I hope that we can leave soon. I will answer any questions on the way there.”

Tyson nearly dropped his glass of milk when he heard the answer to his question. “Oh, no. God, no.” His whispered under his breathe. “Right after break fast, is that ok? I mean, I wish to see my friend as soon as possible.” He told the man, who in turn nodded.

Breakfast was a sad time the morning, even when Gramps tried to lighten their spirits, it had no effect on them at all.

Well, how do you like it? I think that it’s awesome! I can’t wait until I leave Arizona so I can type up the second chapter! I also hope that you all review!
