Vampire Hunter.

Ch1
“One down,” Kai muttered staring at the pile of dust infront of him, “One less blood sucker in the world.”
Kai looked around the alley and his eyes fell onto the young woman's body.
Pity I couldn't save her, Kai thought.
He picked his stake up and walked to the house he shared with his friends.
“Bout time you came back,” Tyson cried out as Kai entered the home, `Thought you got lost, roomie!”
Kai groaned. Why was Tyson so annoying?
“Well?”
“I had a run in with a bloodsucker,” Kai muttered gruffly, `Nothing new.”
Tyson nodded. If he knew anything, he knew not to ask about a vampire.
“Was the person it killed pretty?”
Kai just walked to his room to check his wounds.
“Rei,” came a whining voice, “Why can't we go party?”
Rei sighed, his golden eyes narrowing.
“Because there might be hunters there.”
The blond vampire sighed, he loved the city life! But the hunter that popped up made things complicated.
`I'm sorry Max,” Rei said quietly, “But we can't.”
“I'm so frustrated with Kai,” Tyson complained to Kenny, “He never relaxes. He doesn't ever have fun.”
Kenny sighed.
“Kai is a vampire hunter,” he explained slowly, “He needs to be on his guard at all times. Vampires could attack at any time.”
Tyson nodded.
“I guess you're right,” he admitted, “I just wondered if he would lighten up.”
Kenny nodded.
The next day, Kai went out to find vampire covens. Who knew, maybe he would kill one or two.
This should be fun, Kai thought walking up to an abandoned warehouse, I need to let my anger out somehow. My anger management.
Shaking his head at his own stupidity, Kai warily entered the old building.
“Rei do you hear that?”
Rei stopped in his tracks and listened.
“Yeah,” Rei said quietly, “Stay here, I'm going to see what it is.”
“Rei!”
Rei walked off, looking for the source of the noise.
Kai didn't bring out his flashlight, for he knew from experience that a vampire would be able to see him that way.
Three vamps, Kai mused to himself, that's all. Then I leave and get some breakfast.
Something crashed in the background and Kai jumped.
What was that?
Kai turned dagger in hand, and scanned the area as best he could and sighed. As far as he could tell, there were no vampires, which meant no anger management. Damn.
What, what's that?
Kai peered into the darkness and saw a blond tuff of hair.
“Who's there?” Kai demanded, “Show yourself!”
The blond “person” didn't move and Kai knew that he was talking to a vampire, finally.
“Come out!” Kai hissed.
“Fine,” the person said, “Hold your horses.”
Kai could barely hold his excitement as the vampire proceeded to show himself.
“Hold on hunter, the blond said, “But you might want to look behind you.”
Kai turned, felt a sharp pain in his neck, and saw a pair of gold eyes staring at him.
The he blacked out.
