HI EVERYONE! I'm back with the next chapter. Now, I'm warning you. Things might get a little confusing from here.

Before

"FOOD!" Tyson exclaimed, and ran towards the buffet belonging to the hotel they stayed in. Max and Ray anime sweat dropped and walked after Tyson.

"HURRY UP YOU GUYS! FOOD!!!!" Tyson yelled, and literally dragged a sighing Max and Ray to the buffet.

~With Zakuro and Kai~

It was silent in the room.

`I wonder why Kai saved me from his grandfather… I can't believe he's Voltaire's grandson!' thought Zakuro, as she stole a look at Kai.

~Mistress, do you hate Kai because of his grandfather?~

`Well, I don't hate him… it's just that…'

~But they're different.~

`How do you know, Xeora?'

~Because I had just talked with his bit beast.~

`But you two don't know each other… so how'd you have a conversation?'

~Well, since Kai was worrying about you, Dranzer invited me so I could help Kai~

`What did you talk about?'

~I can't tell you…~

`Xeora … please?'

~Nope~

`If you don't, I'll tell Kiba (bit beast I made up not gonna show up) you like him~'

~No, please don't tell him!~

`Tell me then.'

~Fine… I told them about your past.~

`You what?!'

~I'm sorry Zakuro… I just wanted to help you…~

`Hn, so that explains why Kai is sending me a pitiful look…'

"Do you mind?!" Zakuro snapped, talking to Kai. Kai blushed and little and looked away.

`WHY THE HELL AM I BLUSHING?!' Kai screamed mentally.

`Geez, I hate it when people pity me!'

~Don't be angry at Kai… it's not his fault…~

`Hn.' Zakuro quickly closed the link with Xeora.

"Zakuro…" Kai started, but she interrupted him.

"How much did Xeora tell you about my past?" she asked.

"All of it…" Kai replied. Zakuro sighed.

^~Flashback (for Zakuro)~^

"Lord Voltaire, it's a girl!" exclaimed a man in black to his leader, who was standing next to the man in black.

"It doesn't matter… we'll train her. If she's anything like her father, she must have his beyblading skills… Have her specially trained." Replied Voltaire.

"SIR BORIS!" the man in black yelled at another man passing by. The man identified as Boris came over to Voltaire and the man. The man in black bowed, then left.

"Boris, I need you to specially train this girl." When Voltaire saw the look on Boris' face, he added, "She is the daughter of Ryou." Boris' eyes widened, then he nodded. He took the crying baby girl and took it to the lab, where she would be stripped of all her emotions.

~End flashback~

~Flashback (for Zakuro)~

"Wake up and train!" a rough voice of a man was heard before the sound of a whip, then a whimper.

"I said wake up and train, girl!" yelled Boris, holding a whip over a motionless little girl. Boris was about to punch the girl, but she blocked the punch and punched him in the stomach, causing him to double over.

"My name is Zakuro. Learn it." Said the girl now identified as Zakuro, and started running towards the exit. Suddenly, a red alarm could be heard. BEEP BEEP BEEP… This encouraged Zakuro to run faster. She looked back and saw no one, but ended up bumping into someone with light blue hair.

~End flashback~

~Flashback (for Kai)~

"Sorry," Zakuro mumbled, and stood up. She quickly dusted herself off, helped the boy up, and started running once more.

"What are you doing?!" the boy asked Zakuro.

"I'm running away!" she replied, before she turned right. Suddenly, 2 men in black ran towards Kai.

"Kai, did you see a girl with long purple hair and sapphire eyes run through here?" one of the men asked Kai. Kai nodded, not knowing what to say.

"Thanks," the other guy muttered, as they both went forward and stopped at the intersection.

"You go left, I'll go right." Said one of the men, and the separated. A moment later, Boris ran up to Kai.

"WHERE DID SHE GO?!" he yelled at Kai.

"Do you mean that girl with long purple hair and sapphire eyes?" Boris nodded, then glared. "Sir," Kai added.

"Damn her…" Boris muttered.

"Excuse me sir, but if you don't mind me asking, who was that girl?" Kai asked. Even though he hated talking or even being near Boris, he was curious to find out who that purple haired girl was.

"Why should I tell you brat?" Boris replied with a glare. Kai didn't say anything, and walked to the room with the beydish located so he could train. He bumped into another man in black.

"Kai, do you know where a girl with long purple hair and sapphire eyes went?" he asked. Kai glared.

"I'll only tell you if you tell me who the hell she is." Kai responded. The man in black sighed.

"She's Zakuro Hiwazaki, now tell me where she went!" the man in black replied. Kai pointed to the opposite direction… the place he bumped into the girl, Zakuro.

~End flashback~

Kai's eyes widened.

"I remember you now…" he muttered. Zakuro heard it, and her head shot up like a bullet.

"What did you say Hiwatari?" Zakuro asked.

"Nothing," Kai replied in his icy tone. Zakuro rolled her eyes and headed for the door.

"Where are you going?" Kai snapped.

"You don't expect me to stay here forever do you?" Zakuro snapped, and went out before Kai could say another word. A few minutes later, Ray, Max, and Tyson came back.

"Oh Kai! You're back! Mr. Dickenson wanted us to tell you that there's supposed to be 5 members for the competition… no, for the teams… forever." Said Ray. Suddenly, a loud noise came from Tyson's stomach.

"BATHROOM!" he yelled.

"HEY! TYSON! OPEN THE WINDOW!" Max yelled, and followed Tyson.

"Why?" Kai asked, pissed off. Ray shrugged. An hour later, Tyson came out, moaning, Max next to him. Max looked like he was going to faint. Ray laughed, then asked,

"What happened?"

"Tyson did his `business'… and it stunk… so after he came out, I went it to open the window…" Max explained, his face blue, eyes like =.=. Kai remained stony faced, thinking about his "conversation" with Zakuro. Suddenly, Mr. D came in the room, a smile plastered on his face.

"I've got great news!" he said. Tyson's face brightened.

"You have food?!" he asked, but frowned when Mr. D shook his head. Everyone in the room sighed.

"I've found the 5th member!" he replied. Everyone smiled (except for Kai).

"Who? Who? How is he like? Is he really good?" Tyson asked, hyper.

"Er… actually, she's a… well, she." Answered Mr. D. Everyone's eyes widened.

"WHAT?!" Max and Tyson exclaimed.

"I'm not that happy either so shut up." Came a voice that Kai recognized immediately.

`Zakuro…' he thought, as the purple haired beauty entered the room. Everyone's eyes widened.

"Hey, you're that girl who beat Tyson!" Max and Ray exclaimed. The girl glared, not saying anything. SILENCE.

"HEY! I know you! You're that girl who beat me!" Tyson suddenly exclaimed. Ray and Max sighed, then hit Tyson on the head.

"OW! What did I do?" he whined. Zakuro glared at Kai, and he glared back.

"She's Zakuro Hiwazaki." Said Mr. D.

"Excuse me, may I please talk to you sir? In private?" Zakuro asked icily. Mr. D nodded, and went outside, followed by Zakuro. Now, the Bladebreakers were very curious, so they sneaked after the 2.

"What is it, Zakuro?" Mr. D asked.

"After this tournament in Russia… you will have to find another member to fill in for me." Zakuro replied, her arms crossed, eyes closed, leaning on a wall (Much like Kai, no?).

`Maybe sooner…' she thought. Mr. D sent Zakuro a questioning look.

"Why is she saying that?" Max murmured to his teammates, who just shrugged.

"Why?" Mr. D asked, asking the questions of Max, Tyson, Ray, and Kai. Zakuro didn't answer his question exactly. All she said was,

"I… I have to save some of my friends," she replied, and Mr. D nodded. They started walking back. The eyes of the Bladebreakers widened as they quickly ran back to the room of the hotel. They barged in, and sat down, trying to look like they had been in there ever since the two left. A few seconds later, Zakuro and Mr. Dickenson came back. Before anyone got to say anything, a beeping sound was heard, coming from Zakuro's pocket. She quickly went outside, not knowing Kai followed her... again. The rest shrugged and ordered some pizza so Tyson would shut up.

~With Zakuro~

Zakuro went outside and took out a weird, tiny square shaped machine. She pressed a blue button, and machine grew a bit bigger, and it was like a mini TV screen. Tala's face appeared on the screen, surprising Kai, who was in hiding.

"Tala! Are you ok? What's wrong?" Zakuro asked, voice full of concern.

"Nothing… it's just that I heard about the competition over here… and um…" Tala seemed to have trouble finishing his sentence, but Zakuro got the point.

"Yes Tala… I will get you, Bryan, Spencer, and Ian out of that hellhole." She replied with a warm smile. (A/N: If you want a pic of Zakuro, I have it, so I'll email it to you… it's not exactly a crossover, u know. I just happen to have a friend named Zakuro, so I named this character after her, and I found an anime character (I have no idea which anime she's from, or what her name is), and she's really pretty… so she's practically Zakuro in my story…) Kai's eyes widened. Tala smiled, and said,

"Thanks Zakuro… hey you know, you should take off the hood, at least. We haven't seen you in a long time, and all we see are your eyes!" Zakuro sighed and took off her hood to reveal a VERY beautiful girl with the same icy sapphire eyes and long purple hair.

"Anyway, how are you actually communicating with me right now? If it's your rest time, rest and don't talk to me!" Zakuro said, looking at Tala in the little screen. Tala laughed and shook his head.

"Some new guys came in today, and they're causing a lot of trouble, so we all got some free time," he replied. Suddenly, Bryan, Spencer, and Ian came on the screen, grinning.

"HI ZAKURO!" they greeted, as Zakuro laughed.

"Hey guys!" she said happily.

`That's the first time I saw he smile and laugh ever since I met her… the same could be said for Tala, Ian, Bryan, and Spencer…' Kai thought, as he kept on watching her in silence.

"Argh… get off me!" Tala struggled to get the 3 boys off him, while Zakuro was giggling. Finally, Tala got the 3 boys off and sighed.

"I miss you Tala…" Zakuro muttered.

"HEY!" Bryan yelled.

"Bryan, Ian, and Spencer too!" she added, and let out a small smile when she heard the 3 mutter `better'. After a minute of talking, Zakuro could hear Boris calling for Tala, Bryan, Ian, and Spencer. The 5 sighed.

"Well, it was nice seeing you again Zakuro…" the 5 muttered, before they went, the little TV screen blank, and miniature again. Zakuro sighed, and put on her stony face on once again, and put the machine away, and put her hood back on. Just then, Kai came out from where he was hiding.

"What do you want?" Zakuro asked icily.

"What business do you have Tala?" Kai replied in the same icy tone.

"They're my friends, do you have a problem with that?" Zakuro asked coldly.

"Yeah, they're the enemy!" Kai yelled.

"Do you think I care Hiwatari? If you're smart, then you'd know that I don't!" she yelled back, and started to walk away, but was stopped by Kai, who grabbed her wrist.

"What do you want Hiwatari?!" Zakuro was pissed off, and it wasn't good to be near her when she was angry.

"How about this: we battle. If I win, you tell me everything, but if I lose, I'll leave you alone." Kai replied. Zakuro thought about it, and accepted. The two walked over to the beydish which was currently located near the park.

"3…2…1… LET IT RIP!" they both yelled, and launched their blades into the dish.

Sorry for ending the second chapter like this. I know the character seems a little Mary-Sue-ish, but please just hold on. It has to be like this. You'll figure out why in the next few chapters.
