CHAPTER 2. `I am going to be a dead meat'

 

 

THE NEXT DAY AFTER SCHOOL.

 

“Hey guys Congratulations! Its my birthday;HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME”

 

said Ellen with a sweet mood

 

“Happy Birthday Ellen”

 

every one wished Ellen

 

“ok! I m giving a party and you all are coming ; no practice excuse,Fine”

 

“ALRIGHT means we are going to have a CAKE ”

 

shouted Tyson

 

“But Ellen we don't have time to buy any gift for you”

 

Max said

 

“No Prob! You guys are coming as my friends is the best gift ever”

 

 

AT THE PARTY.

 

“Oh no you don't Daichi”

 

shouted Tyson running behind Daichi

 

“Tyson !I got it first get your own,its my piece”

 

Daichi answered and they both came running in front of the group and Daichi made Ellen fall but she hold some white thing she saw to protect her self from falling but the one who was wearing it, came down with her with that white scarf

 

“HEY”

 

said the one wearing the thing

 

*** DRATS! OH MY GOD! I AM GOING TO BE A DEAD MEAT ***

 

thought Ellen to her self when she saw the one who was wearing that scarf.

 

GOD it was Kai who was laying on the floor beside Ellen and because of Ellen.

 

He quickly got up, first he loosed his scarf and then saw Ellen angrily but clamed down may be because of her birthday and then took a seat at the corner rubbing his neck

 

*** Whats that, OH NO! a cut; gosh it must be hurting him ***

 

Ellen thought when she looked a cut on Kai's neck bleeding a little.

 

He suddenly tried to hide it when he saw Ellen looking at him.

 

Ellen got up and started to walk towards Kai but suddenly all her friends came across her and blocked her way

 

“ELLEN, CAKE TIME!”

 

all shouted together.

 

After the party and saying good bye to friends they all started to walk towards the dojo.

 

Ellen stoped at the door and waited for Kai to come but it seemed that he was waiting for her to GO sitting on the bench.

 

Now only Kai and Ellen were left outside she started to walk towards Kai and sat beside him on the bench and started talking to him

 

“Kai”

 

“hun”

 

Kai turned

 

“are you okay”

 

“why you are not with your friends”

 

Kai said

 

“WELL! I am. I am with a very good friend of mine but I don't know if he thinks me as a friend or not and I want to know if he is okay or not”

 

“what will happen to me”

 

“Kai I am really sorry that because of me…….”

 

“its alright Ellen it was just a little cut and it didn't hurt me”

 

Kai stopped Ellen in middle of her sentence

 

“now you should go and sleep its very late”

 

He continued

 

“OKHAY! Um are you not coming Kai”

 

“I'll come after making Tyson clean up all this mess”

 

he said with a slight smile

 

“ok then good night Kai”

 

“and yeah Ellen”

 

he stopped her and made Ellen to turn

 

“Happy Birth Day!!”

 

“thanks Kai”

 

and she entered the dojo with a lots of happiness singing

 

“happy birthday to me!!,happy birthday to me”

“Hun!Whats going on?”

 

Ellen asked to herself as she woke up rubbing her dark blue eyes.She got out of the bed,put her jacket on,went out of the door and stood beside Rei.

 

“Whats happening?” she asked with a sleepy look

 

“You see Ellen they are practicing”

 

“Beyblading RIGHT?”

 

“YES they are! you looked very tired yesterday so we didn't wake you up and let you sleep”

 

Max joined them

 

“how was your sleep Ellen”

 

Hilary asked

 

“A good night sleep;what else a tired girl want.It was so good Hilary,Thanks. Hey!wait I heard someone saying DRANZER;who owes DRANZER”

 

Ellen said looking everyone's pointed fingers towards Kai

 

“OH!GREAT!Kai would you battle me?”

 

Ellen asked looking towards Kai excitedly

 

“DRATS!WHAT THE HECK KAI!Why do you always win;OH!I get it Kenny must have upgraded your blade”

 

Tyson shouted angrily when he saw DRAGOON flying out of the dish

 

“SHUT UP TYSON! I haven't done a thing” Kenny defend himself

 

“what do you say Kai would you battle me?”

 

“A professional never battles with beginners” Kai answered Ellen moving towards the wall

 

“hun Kai please,please,battle;please battle me please”

 

Ellen started begging but Kai didn't show any movement and stood still

 

“What happened Kai are you scared” Ellen said mischieviously

 

“YES! Yes I am scared that after you lost the battle it would be difficult for you to buy a new blade cause you'll not be able to fight from a broken blade Ellen” Kai answered with a smile

 

“why do you only wanna to battle Kai;why don't you start with Rei or someone else Ellen” Hilary said moving towards Tyson

 

“OKHAY!Rei are you ready!”

 

“ready when you are Ellen”

 

and they both moved towards the dish
