A four year old girl with blonde hair and ruby eyes was sitting on a swing bench. She was wearing a denim dress, and looked completely bored. On her left was a ten year old girl with silver hair in braided pigtails and light brown eyes with the same expression as the younger girl's. On the right of the blonde was a six year old Kai.

"Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows. Butterflies-" The blonde sang.

"I hate to interrupt the karaoke solo, but I'm here to pick up Kai."

They looked up to see Kai's grandfather, Voltaire.

"Alright Mr. Kai's grandpa guy!" The blonde said happily.

The silver haired girl shook her head and said, "Xui, what did I tell you about calling Mr. Hiwatari Mr. Kai's grandpa guy?"

"Don't do it. I know Zhang you've told me thousands of times." The blonde, Xui, said.

Voltaire smiled, "Nonsense! It's actually quite, interesting. Come on Kai, the plane to Russia won't wait."

Kai got up and quietly shoved something in Xui's hands, leaving with Voltaire.

"Hey Xui, what'd he give you?" Zhang, the girl with silver hair, asked.

Xui opened her hand to show a small hair comb, the kind that you can put in your hair, with a red flowers decorated on it.

"That must've cost a couple of dollars. I'm gonna go prepare dinner." Zhang said, getting up.

Xui put the comb in her hair and left to go to her room.

Three years later…(xui-7 kai-10 zhang-14)

Zhang was washing dishes while Xui was in her room, doing Kami-sama knows what.

"Hello, Zhang?"

Zhang opened the door to see who it was, only to see Kai's grandpa, Voltaire,

"Hello, Mr.Hiwatari. Do you need anything? I don't see Kai."

"Need something? Your bit beast will do perfectly." Voltaire said. He pulled out a gun and shot Zhang in the head, then once in the chest.

He quickly grabbed her pendant and ran into a car, driving away.

"Zhang, are you okay? I heard some-" Xui stopped when she saw what happened to her sister. Of all the days for her sister to get killed, it was on Xui's birthday.

Years later….(Xui's 14 along with Tyson, Kenny, and Max. Rei's 15 and Kai's 16. Xui forgot about Kai after all these years.)

Xui looked around the airport muttering, "He should be here by now."

She had let her hair grow down to the end of her back and put silver streaks in it, in memory of Zhang. She had her hair in odangos (Sailor Moon's hairstyle) and used the comb to hold back her bangs on the right side of her face. She was wearing a plain blue T-Shirt and some grey pants.

"Xui! Xui, over here!"

Xui looked around to see who was calling her and saw Rei.

"Hi Rei, you're late. By fifteen minutes." Xui said, crossing her arms.

"Okay, don't rub it in. Xui, these are the guys, Tyson, Kenny, Max, Hilary, and Kai. Guys, this is my cousin, Xui Li." Rei introduced.

Xui smiled, "Nice to meet you."

"Yeah, same here. I'm Tyson, you know, the Beyblading champ?" Tyson bragged.

"Beyblading chump is more like it." Kai said.

Xui smiled, "So, you guys are on a team with Rei right? Bladderbreakers or something?"

"Bladebreakers! How can you not know us?!" Tyson yelled.

"Sorry! I don't beyblade." Xui said, stuffing most of her luggage onto Tyson's head.

"Why not?" Max asked.

Xui shrugged, "Why waste my time spinning tops? I could just practice guitar or something."

"Finally someone understands!" Hilary said.

"Hilary right? Rei's told me how you help the team out." Xui said.

"I help too you know!" Dizzi yelled.

Xui jumped behind Rei, "Rei, the laptop, just talked."

Everybody, except for Kai, laughed.

Kenny explained, "She's programmed to talk."

"Okay then. This visit's definitely going to be interesting."

Tyson's dojo….

Tyson's grandpa attacked Xui from the behind with a wooden sword, only to have Xui counter it with her own.

"Yo, homegirl! You got some moves! You gonna sign up for some lessons, my main girl?" Tyson's grandpa said.

"Uuummm…No, I have other things to do." Xui said.

"Grandpa, leave her alone! She's Rei's cousin." Tyson said, holding up a sandwich.

"So you're the Rei-man's cousin? If you change your mind, give me the word up dawg!" He said before leaving.

(I'm trying not to explode with laughter while typing this.)

"o_o That was odd." Xui said, putting her wooden sword down.

"Ignore him, he's always like that." Tyson said, in between bites.

"So, what're you doing tomorrow?" Hilary asked.

"Nothing really. Just thought I might go around town."

"Great, we'll show you around." Rei said.

"Okay. I'm gonna go now. Jet lag." Xui said.

"Okay then, I'll take you to your hotel." Rei said.

Xui put her hands up, "Seriously Rei, I'm 14. I can handle this."

"Tyson's 14 and he probably can't." Rei said.

"I'm not Tyson." Xui said, running out the door.

Somewhere in the shadows…..

"Enjoy life Xui. There's only a little of it left…."
