Summery: A young girl was put in a mentle instiution becuse her parents thought she was nuts for saying that ghosts were there and they want help. Can a certain cold hearted boy help her? Songfic to Zombie

A little girl cried out. She hated being alone. It makes her think that no one cares for her. She shivered as she felt a touch on her shoulder. "G-go aw-away." she squeaked out. "Why?" a voice hissed in her ear. "Just go away!" she screamed tears trailing down her pale face. A docter came running in on her scream. "whats wrong, Jade?" he asked. "Gh-ghost.." she whimpered.

"Theres no such thing, Jade, and a boy will be helping you. Hes about fourteen. His name is Kai Hiwatari. I hope you'll behave when he is here with you." the docter informed the little girl. She nodded numbly. You will not tell anyone why we put you here, Jade.. her fathers words echoed in her head.

I'm so afraid, what if he hates me? Jade thought. The ghost protect me but hurt me so... A boy walked in. "You must be Jade." he said coldly.

Hes more harsher than I thought... "Y-yeah.." "Quit with the stuttering!" he exclaimed. Damn Tyson, he made me come here! Kai thought glancing at the shaking girl relizing that shes no older than four.

"A child your age shouldn't be here!" Kai remarked after a while. Jade looked up. "What do you mean?" she squeaked. "Who put you in here?"

"M-my dad," she replied still afraid of him. "Whats so crazy about you? I mean your only four! Where was your mother?"

"M-my m-m-mom wa-was a-at w-w-work. Sh-she di-didn't know ab-about him pu-putting me in the Intuition.." she stammered.

~Another head hanges lowly
Child is slowly taken~

Kai blinked. "Whats up with the stuttering?"

"I-its a ha-habit, wh-when p-people I dont know o-or they m-make m-me ne-nervous, I-I tend to st-stutter..." she explained glancing away, as if she saw something.

Kai sighed. Was he losning up to a child. "Why did your father put you in here?"

"I-I see ghosts. They were in a war fighting. They died. They fallow me. They said that soon the four spirits will arise.." she said looking up.

"....." Kai didnt respond. Shes just a child! Though she sees ghosts. They might be serching for help! Four spirits..? The hell?

"Hey, Kai, its time to go!" a perky boy stated enering the room suprising the child. "Okay, I'll see you later Jade." Kai said glancing at the girl.

She nodded and waved bye to Kai.

~The violence caused such silence

A man in his mid twentys entered with a nine-teen year old woman. "Mommy! Daddy!" she squealed. Her mother was nineteen. Her father twenty three. "shut up, Jade!" her father snapped slapping her. A ghost got angry at her father for slapping her.

"Jade, I'll get you out soon.." her mother wispered. Jades father was a acholholic so hes drunk and was pretty much abusive to the poor little girl. Her mother did drugs for awhile then quit becuse she knew it was wrong. "Then we, just the two of us, can live somewhere far away from that man you call father.." her mother promised quietly.

Her father growled. "You -are- a disgrace Jade! If you were perfect then maybe I'd pull you out! But nooo you had to be insane and say that you see ghosts!" Her father shouted at the child hitting her a few times. He pulled out a knife.

The helpless child stared at her father hautingly. "Why? Do you not love me?" she asked her voice toneless. The ghost had her under its controll. "Shut the fuck up!" her father snapped cutting open her arms. "Why do you hate me?" she asked.

Kai walked in with two boys the next day to see the child sleeping peacefully. "Thats the kid?" one boy asked. He was chinese. "Yeah." Then Kai saw blood on the sheets. Her blood. "Something happened to her!" Kai suddenly said alert of what happened.

Jade stirred and woke up. She blinked one or two times before she relized Kai was in the room. "Hi!" she stated cheerfully. She smild up at Kai. "Hey, Jade, I want you to meet some of my friends." he stated relizing that yesterday had a strange affect on her. Becuse yesterday she looked dead, and she was quiet now shes perky and happy.

"Okay!" she said smiling cutely. Kai couldn't help but smile. "This is Rei and this is Tala." he poined at each. She grinned. 'Hi! I'm Jade." Funny little girl... "So any ghosts come to you?" Kai asked.

"Yep! He said that my father is evil!" she said smiling. Her eyes were now filled with tears at the mention of her father. "Ghosts?" Tala asked looking at Kai annoyed.

"Anything else happen?"

"Yeah, daddy and mommy came. Daddy must hate me.." she said looking at him. Rei glanced at Kai. "Should I say anything?" he mouthed to Kai. Kai looked at him. "Sure, just ask a question but dont get into personaly stuff becuse than she starts to sutter and it gets annoying."

"So, Jade, what do you like to do?" Rei asked. "Talk with nice ghosts! And draw.." "Whats your favorite animal?" Tala asked.

"Lions! And kitties!" Kai looked over at a picture. There was a child he assumed was Jade and two adult he relized were her parents.

"So these are your parents?" he asked gently. "Yup! But they aren't really family to me.. daddy hates 'cause he hurts whenever he sees me. Mommy says that hes drunk." the four year old stated.

"Her father drinking!?" Kai exclaimed that night. There was a knock on the door. Tyson answered it. "can I help you?" he asked the woman. "Yes. May I speak to Kai?" she asked.

"Sure. Come in ma'am. KAI!!" Tyson called. Kai walked into the room. "Are you Kai Hiwatari?" the woman asked. Kai nodded. "I'm Jades mother. I have a request for you.." she said. "Hm?" "Keep my daughter safe from harm. She trusts you. I am afrai of what'll happen once she leaves the place. Make sure they believe shes sane!" her mother pleaded.

"why?" he asked glaring at her mother who wasnt there to protect her from leaving.

"Becuse shes not insane! she has sanity! Please protect from any harm that comes her way..." Jades mother replied. Kai nodded. "I will." he said softly. "Keep her away from my husband..." her mother said before walking out.

***With Jade***

Jade sighed. Kai was nice! He probaly thinks shes nuts. She sighed. This place was like a death house to her. Since the war was going on in her head. She dosent understand why she was living. Normally she'd cry or whimper or scream but she felt courage.

Her father came the night. "Hi, Jadey, remember you asked if I loved you? I do and I'll show that to you.." her father wispered pushing her onto the bed. Fear entered her eyes.

"D-daddy..d-d-dont.." she whimpered. He kissed her focefully on the lips and nipped at her neck. Jade felt afraid. Se didnt know if she should scream or not. H-help som-someone pl-please.. she thought.

***Midnight****

Her father rapped her. He leaft at ten but a threat lingering in the air. She felt dirty. Hate and hurt towards her father grew stronge. "Why? Why me?" she asked herself. "Daddy hurt me badly. I hate him.." she sobbed. "Why didnt you help me?" she asked no one. "Becuse, we are spirits and plus if out you under mind controll we'd kill you beucse your mind is so weak other wise we would've helpd you." a ghost commented appearing to sit next to her.

"But still! Daddy hurt me severly!" she snapped.

"Tell Kai tomorrow okay?" he said fiercly. The chil nodded.

****The next day****

"Good morning Jade!" a nurse said walking into the room. "Wheres Kai..?" the little girl asked. "He'll be here at noon. Right now its time for you medication." she said kindly. The child relunticly took the medicine.

"Will daddy be coming today?" Jade asked. "No today." The child grinned happy that he wont be there.

Always a war inside her head. She could only hear the gunshots and shouts and explsions. "The war! We're gonna lose! *explosion is heard* We cant stop it!!" she heard the shouts. She shivered. "Everything isnt reality anymore.. its like a grave here. With people who are dead. People look dead and act dead.."

Kai walked in to see the child crying. "Hey, whats wrong?" she latched onto Kai.

"They're dying! It much deaths.." she sobbed. Kai gently and relunticly rubbed her back wispering soothing words in Russian to her. "K-Kai, I-I need to tell you somthing.."

"Hm?"

"M-my dad h-he to-touched m-me in a way I didnt like.." she wispered.

Her father is harsh. he rapped her! I cant believe it! I'll see if I could take her to..the dojo if Tyson would like a child there Kai thought. "Maybe I should see if I could take you with me..." he suggested gently.

"Wh-what? th-they wont allow it!" she exclaimed. "They might.." Kai said gently.

Jade sighed. How can people think hes cold hearted? "Ok.."

Kai called up Tyson and asked and Tyson agreed to have a little girl in the Dojo for a while. Then when Kai goes back to Russia, Kai'll take her with and bring her to his mansion. Which he'll have to get legal rights over the child which might be hard becuse hes just a teen and they wont allow a teenager to take care of a four year old whose ten years younger!

Jade heard crying in her head. she heard teh mourns of families over the deaths of loved ones. "They sacraficed themselves to keep us safe.." "Make it stop.." she squeaked out tears trailing down her pale face.

"Make sure she take the medicine it keeps her at bay so she dpsent space out." the nurse instructed Kai handing him the pills. "One a dat. Only in teh mornings."

"Come on Jade." Kai said gently. "Okay, coming..."

****Alter that day****

"SHES A DOLL!" Hilary exclaimed grasping the poor little girl into a tight hug. "Air supply..problem..." Jade squeaked. "Oh! I am sorry Jade!" Hilary stated.

There was a knock at the door. Kai answered it. "OZUMA!?" "Feh. Yeah. We have a Beybattle remember?" Ozuma replied. "Yeah, but I'm uhh babysitting.." Kai stated.

"Suuuurrrre you are. What teh kids name?" Ozuma asked thinking it was stupid for the cold hearted boy to even be around kids.

"Jade." Kai responded. "Fine lets Beybattle. TYSON YOU HAD BETTER WATCH JADE!! OR ELSE!!" They went out back.

***After the Beybattle***

Kai like always won. "Nice match.." Jade stated standing outside with Tyson. "Tyson.. why did you bring her out?" Kai asked threatingly. "I dunno.." Tyson replied. "He just wanted to come out here.." Jade muttered under her breath. "Hey, Ozuma, whats up?" Tyson asked grinning at him.

"Nothing much Tyson.." Ozuma replied.

Ghosts...why do I see more of them here? she thought bitterly. why are you so afraid kid? a voice asked her. Wh-who are you? *smiles* I am Flash Lepord Ozuma's Bit Beast, I sensed you fear and decided to talk to you. So where are you from? Born in Egypt. My father put me a Insane Asylum until Kai-chan took me out.

You poor child! Why did your father put you in the asylum?

Becuse I claimed to see ghosts..

Oh..

"Tyson, can I go inside?" Jade asked shyly.

"Sure." Tyson replied. Jade scampered inside.

It was rare for her to act shy. Shes a social butterfly buut now she was acting all shy.

"That was Jade?" Ozuma asked suprised.

Kai nodded. "Yeah, I have to keep her away from her father. Hes harmed her to much.."


I should stop there. I'll continue the song in the next chapter. My fingure hurt so yeah...
