In Feudal Japan a year after Naraku's defeat and the Jewel of Four Souls being completed.

It is just a normal day in Feudal Japan, Inuyasha and Kikyo are living together in the village as well as Sango and Miroku.

As for Kagome she is living with Sesshoumaru at his castle in the west and will soon be his mate. They are taking care of Shippo and Rin together and Kagome has melted the icy shell around Sesshoumaru's heart.

One day Kagome wanted to go home to see her family. Sesshoumaru wanted to go with her and take Shippo and Rin too. So they all gathered their supplies and got a servant to bring Ah-Un to the main courtyard. Sesshoumaru put Rin and Shippo oh his back. Sesshoumaru held Kagome around the waist as he summoned his demonic cloud and they took off for the well.

They flew for two hours until they reached the human village Inuyasha and the rest of the group are.

Kagome lead her small group into a hut. Inuyasha and Kikyo were sitting around a fire in the center of the room. Kagome went into another room to retrieve some supplies. Once she got all she needed she left the room and said her good byes to her friends. They left the hut and headed to the well. Once they reached the well they all got ready to pass through it. Kagome held onto the children while Sesshoumaru grabbed her around the waist and then they all jumped in. They passed through the well and reached the other end. Sesshoumaru was still holding onto them so he jumped out of the well and brought them with him. He released his hold on Kagome and she put the children down. She then approached the door of the well house and opened it and stepped out into the court yard of the shrine and then the children and Sesshoumaru followed behind her. She walked over to her house and opened the door and walked in and removed her shoes before going all the way inside the house. Once they all were inside the house Kagome called out to see if anyone was home. No one was home so they all made themselves at home. Kagome walked into the kitchen and started to make some tea. She then saw a note on the table which said:

Dear Kagome,
Your cousin Ichigo is supposed to be coming over. If you get home before he shows up don’t go anywhere and please wait for him. I should be home soon; I went out to the food store and took Sota to a friend’s house.

Kagome finished reading the note and smiled. She was so excited. She hasn’t seen her cousin in many years. The last time she saw him was when her aunt died. All of a sudden the teapot started whistling and she turned off the stove and poured the tea into cups. She then put the cups on a tray and brought it into the living room. Sesshoumaru was sitting on the couch trying to figure out how to turn on the picture box (aka the TV). Kagome put down the tray down and picked up the remote and pressed the power button. The TV turned on and the first thing that came on was Don Kanonji’s Ghost Extermination show.

Sesshoumaru’s eyes bulged out of his head and said, “What the fuck is this?”

Kagome says, “It’s a popular new show on TV about Don Kanonji exterminating ghost.”

All of a sudden Kagome sees Ichigo on TV dressed as a Shinigami with a large sword. Then she notices a large monster and Ichigo is fighting it. She watches him fight and then sees him jump and cut the monster in half and it disappeared.

When the fight was over she turned to Sesshoumaru and asks, “Did you see a boy just now on the TV with orange hair fighting just now?”

Sesshoumaru turns away from watching the TV and says, “No I saw nothing interesting like that just now, why do you ask Kagome?”

“Oh no reason.” Says Kagome

She gets up and hands Sesshoumaru a cup of tea and sits back down next to him. Rin and Shippo fell asleep on the love seat.

An hour later the door bell rings and Kagome jumps off the couch and flies to the door to answer it. At the door was none other than her cousin Ichigo. When she saw him she jumped on him and hugged him tightly. When she released him she started bouncing happily around him. When she calmed down she let him come inside and she introduced him to Sesshoumaru and the kids. She sat him down next to Sesshoumaru and went to get tea for him. She came back with his tea and sat down between Sesshoumaru and Ichigo. Sesshoumaru sat there dumbfounded by the situation.

Meanwhile Kagome and Ichigo were talking and catching up on missed times. While they were talking Mrs. Higurashi comes home carrying in some grocery bags. Sesshoumaru got up to help her out. All of a sudden Kon pops out of Ichigo’s bag and everyone stops what they are doing to stare at him. The first person Kon noticed was Kagome and jumps for her. She instinctively put up a barrier and he bounces off. Kon got up and walked back to Ichigo and sat down on the floor.

Suddenly Rin and Shippo woke up from their nap and noticed more people in the house besides them and their okaa-san and otou-san. The first thing they did was call for their okaa-san.

“Okaa-san, Okaa-san!” called out Shippo and Rin together.

Kagome dropped her barrier then rushed to them. She picked them up and rocked them a bit to calm them down then excused herself to take them upstairs. She carried them in her arms upstairs to her room to put them to bed a little early. She tucked them in bed and they fell asleep instantly, She then walked out of her room and went back downstairs to talk with everyone. While everyone gathered around the kitchen table to talk and Mrs. Higurashi starts making dinner. They were all talking about what happened after the last time they all saw each other. Kagome told them that she has finished her journey with Inuyasha and they completed the jewel and that she and Sesshoumaru got married and adopted Rin and Shippo as their own.

Mrs. Higurashi just finished making dinner and started setting the table for all of them to eat. She put the food on the table and they all dug in. After dinner they all started to go upstairs to get ready for bed.

The first two to excuse themselves from the table were Kagome and Sesshoumaru. They wished everyone good night and headed up to Kagome’s room to go to bed. Once in her room Kagome changed into some pajamas and Sesshoumaru was given a pair of boxers to wear to bed. They climbed into bed and let sleep overtake them.

Ichigo to tired to move after plopping down on the couch fell asleep right there. Mrs. Higurashi got a blanket and covered him with it then went up to her room to get some sleep herself.
