[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
OK, so I'vejust recently got into Bleach, the anime and I'vefallen in love with it. Then I was introduced to the wonderful world of FanFics, I'm lovin' it! So why not combine the two? And that's what I did exactly...
I don't own bleach nor the characters or othername/places/things that I mentionthat belong to bleach. The only thing I own is the OC. So enjoy and please comment!
The bell rang to dismiss the students of Karakura High. Ichigo felt his heavy eyes close on him as he headed home. He was exhausted from last night's battle. He felt it wasn't fair that he was always stuck fighting hollows and studying for exams, but he'd always reminded himself that he made a vow to fight hollows and protect innocent people.
Normally fighting hollows was a Peace of cake but ever since his twin sister Aneko Kurosaki found her inner power she was always tagging along in battles thus making him distracted in her safety.
“Ichigo!”
Ichigo glanced back and noticed Orihime running towards him with her incredible and yet usual smile planted on her face. “Orihime…what is it?” He then asked, clueless of what she wanted.
“I wanted to walk with you…that ok?”
He blinked at her a couple of times, “Oh…”
They walked past the road in silence. “…” Orihime glanced at him every chance she got. 'If…If only I could tell him how I feel…' She felt her face blush from the thought. Noticing, Ichigo glanced at her, “Is something the matter…?” He then asked, a bit concern.
“Uh…! N-no! No! I was just…uh…just thinking of something funny that happened to me!” She lied, fake laughing in the process, almost scaring Ichigo.
“U-uh…I see…”
“Yeah…!”
He then glanced away from her, making her sigh to herself. 'Who am I kidding? He'll never return my feelings…'
“Can I ask you something…?” He then asked sudden. She quickly looked up at him and smiled, “Yes! Of course!”
He stopped walking and looked to the ground in deep thought. Orihime stopped a few inches away from him worried. “Ichigo…?”
“Do…do you think bringing Aneko to battles is right?” She paused for a moment and smiled sweetly, “I think it's great we have another member to help us on our missions,”
“-But do you think she's strong enough to handle them...if on her own?” He then continued, still gazing at the dry ground.
She took a step closer, “I think she's very strong…you know as well as I do that if she happens to be on her own she'll be fine.”
He glanced up at her and smiled, “Yeah…I guess you're right,”
“Yes! Besides...she'll always be around us in battles! We'll make sure she's unharmed!” Orihime then assured, making Ichigo feel less paranoid.
“True…thanks Orihime,”
Orihime paused, blushing from his kind words. “U-uh...it's noting, really!”
He gave a small smirk, “Well I'm off, see you tomorrow.” He then waved goodbye as he walked opposite direction from Orihime.
“U-uh…bye!” She waved back, feeling her face cool off. Once he was out of site she lowered her hand saddened. “Ichigo…I want to tell you how I feel so much…”
“I'm home…” He then announced, walking in his house, He was expecting his father to attack him again but noticed there was no reply. “Huh…?” He placed his school bag on the table, noticing two dinner plates on the stove with a letter. He walked up towards the plate and took the letter in his hand,
Dear Ichigo and Aneko, I went to the hospital, got called in and took Yuzu and Karin with me. Yuzu made your dinners. We'll be back later.
Dad
Placing the letter down, Ichigo's eyes glanced at the old clock that sat just above their table, in the living room. It was already 5:00 and he realized Aneko wasn't home yet.
“I wonder where she is…” Just as he walked to the fridge, having a craving for milk, he heard a heavy crash in his room. “What the…?!”
“YO ICHIGO!!!” Suddenly the little stuffed lion, Kon, jumped on his surprised face.
He then snatched the lion by his tail and glared at him. “What the hell was…?” He silenced himself as he noticed Kon's interesting outfit. He wore a pink dress with two white ribbons on the front-chest and on the back of his dress, giving off the feminine touch. “…That?”
“-Ichigo, I'm going with you to school from now on! This is what happens when I'm left alone in this hell!” He then argued while swinging back and forth upside down.
“And what makes you think that…?” Ichigo then scoffed.
“I'll…I'll…Run away!” Kon then threatened.
“And what makes you think I'll care?”
Kon then began struggling in the ignorant teen's grasp, “Ichigo, you heartless bastard…!” He then managed to release himself from and land on the floor running towards the window, “I'll never forgive you for this, Kurosaki!”
“I'm home!”
Ichigo and Kon glanced back from which the sudden announcement came from and noticed Aneko standing at the door with books in one hand and a gym bag in the other meanwhile, her school bag was being kicked inside the house. Her long, bright orange hair, exact color as her Ichigo's, was completely drenched as she wore it in a ponytail, still in school uniform.
“ANEKO!” Kon cried as he jumped in her arms causing her to drop all her stuff. “K-Kon…?”
“Ichigo was being mean to me!” The little stuffed toy then complained. She ignored it once she discovered his outfit. “What the heck are you wearing…?” She asked, snickering at the poor little lion who now felt he lost all dignity he thought he even had.
“You two are mean...Mean people!” He jumped out of her arms and headed towards the door. Joy filled his button eyes as the though of freedom filed his thoughts. Suddenly Aneko shut the door causing Kon to slam against it, and lose his moment. “Ouch…”
“Not so fast kitty!” She then yelled glaring down at the dizzy toy.
“I'm…a lion…!” He then replied getting up.
“You made me drop all my stuff! Now pick them up!”
“What…?!” He glanced back at all the stuff that spread all over the floor. To him it looked like Mount Everest considering he was the size of a book. “But…! But…!”
“Hurry it up and place them on my bed, I have to study.” She then demanded, though she was only joking.
He then pouted, “Aww…!” Suddenly he remembered the window that he planned on escaping from, before Aneko came, and ran towards it, “Ha, now you can't make me!” He shouted as his lightly-stuffed body jumped out the window.
Both Ichigo and Aneko watched, until they heard a very faint Ouch. Aneko giggled and began picking her books up.
“Need help?” Ichigo then offered bending down next to her, picking up paper.
She glanced at him, “Sure…” She then finished picking up all the stuff on her side and noticed Ichigo finished to.
“So where were you?” He then asked placing her books on top of the other supplies.
She arched an eyebrow, “What do you mean…? I had swimming today…remember?”
He glanced at the calendar and noticed a big red circle on today's date saying: Aneko's swimming meet.
“Oh…”
She rolled her eyes at him and grabbed her stuff. “I'm going to my room…” He watched as she left and sighed.
Aneko sat on her comfy, bed-which bared light green covers and cream colored pillows. Her bed was the smallest in the house, but she learned to deal with it once her father told her it was only fair, since last Christmas she got a cell phone, where Ichigo only got pants.
She then grabbed her school bag and placed it over her laps, “Let's see…I have a history exam tomorrow…so I guess I should look over the notes we took on the war...” She got up and began searching through pages that lay on the floor. Her room was filled with many books and paper, you could probably sink in.
Knock, Knock
Suddenly she heard knocking from her door. It wasn't a loud forceful knock, but a softer, yet easy to hear, knock.
“Come on in…!” She then yelled, still looking for her notes. Ichigo stepped inside, only to be stopped by thick books in the way. “What the heck is all this?” He then questioned.
She glanced up at him for a second and continued to look through her stuff. “My studying notes and my ticket to pass the exams and be able too go to the swimming finals…!”
“I see…” He had a rather confused look on his face, “You really doubt yourself…don't you?”
“Shut up. Now is there something you need?” She got up with a rather irritated look in her face. She knew it wasn't his fault she was so irritated...it was all the studying. At least that's what she kept telling herself.
“No…I just brought your dinner…” He replied showing her a bowl with rice in it.
“Thanks…” She received it and took a bite.
“By the way…” He then went on.
“Humm…?”
He looked around the room and noticed her weapon standing against the wall. It was a giant Japanese-like fan with sharp metal edges that could probably cut in half with one swing, if used properly. “…Do you enjoy fighting?”
She glanced up at him shocked. She almost chocked on her food. “W-what kind of question is that?!”
“A serious one…” He then replied, “Do you?” He then repeated. Still looking at him, she shook her head, “No…not at all!”
“So why are you-?”
“-I just want to help protect others and I want to help you!” She then interrupted hoping he'd understand. “But…why?”
“Because…” She then drifted off and looked away, “…Besides!” She then cocked her head back at Ichigo. Her eyes narrowed, “Why are you fighting?!”
He looked at her with a blank stare, “Because…it's my responsibility…?”
“Well…why can't I help out?” she then asked.
“Because…you're just making it your responsibility…it isn't really your responsibility!”
“So…?! I believe I was giving my powers for a reason! It means that it's also my responsibility!”
Ichigo stopped and held his tongue. “…Fine.” He then spoke, “Do whatever you want…but I don't want you to push yourself to the limit…got it?” He then walked out the room. He didn't seem so upset, but just because he didn't show it didn't mean he wasn't, after all Ichigo is good at hiding his emotions and Aneko knew.
“Idiot…”
Next day was rushed for everyone. Since exams were taking place many stayed home, went to school earlier, studying and some went to school later considering their exams weren't till then.
Ichigo sighed as he headed to school. The early sun made it bright on his tired eyes, making it hard for him to see. He placed his hand over his eyes groaning.
“Ichigo!” Ichigo glanced back knowing it could only be one person…Orihime. Placing his hand back down, he waited and watched as the cheerful girl ran up to him. “Good morning, Ichigo.” She bowed in respect and they began to walk to school.
“…” She looked at him worried, “Are you ok?”
He nodded and yawned, “Yeah…I just didn't get enough sleep last night.”
“Oh...? Was it another battle?” She then asked shocked.
“No…I guess you can say I have a lot on my mind…”
“Well if you ask me I'd go to sleep early tonight to catch up on the sleep you missed.” She then replied in a voice so happy it made Ichigo wonder…
How could she always be so happy? No matter the situation, she was always such a sunny person. He then shrugged his shoulders, “Yeah…”
“So…where's Aneko?” She then asked looking around.
“Oh…she decided to go early…”
“I see…well it's good to see her so dedicated in her school work” Ichigo sighed. “You have no idea…”
I managed to edit my story...so hopefully it's much better. Plz comment.
