Ichigo inspected a forming bruise on his neck,it was staring to become a noticeable black and blue and it was a harsh bite mark. It was the day after the "rape",and as soon as the strawberry had woken up the first thing he felt was a throbbing ache all throughout his body. A tingling sensation around his neck confused him so he decided to go to the bathroom and check it out. Ichigo's eyes widened as he gazed into the mirror,he found his tanned neck littered with hickeys and one angry looking bite on the left side of his neck. He brought shaking fingers up to the black and blue,brushing his fingers over it.
The strawberry flinched,even the lightest touch seemed to make it hurt.
"What the fuck happened to me?"
He whispered to himself while clutching the sink in a death grip. Ichigo's mind went back to the previous night,retracing his steps and the last thing he remembered was putting his head down after several drinks and then nothing. A bang on the door broke him from his thoughts.
"Oi,Ichigo how long are you going to take in there?"
It was Karin,he didn't want his little sister to see him like this..
"H-Hold on a sec."
Ichigo panicked a little as he searched for something to cover his neck with something. He looked in the cabinet under the sink and found the first aid kit. He opened it up and took the bandage roll,the strawberry wrapped it around his neck. Karin began banging on the door some more being really impatient.
"Ichigo come on I don't got all day I gotta go to school."
He flung open the bathroom door and rushed to his room before she could take a good look at him. He hated the times when she would do that to him,but what he hated most was leaving his family in the dark about what happened last night. They were very worried when Kenryu came into the Kurosaki household carrying one very shaken up Ichigo. Isshin had continuously asked his son what had happened and to let him check Ichigo out. But the nineteen year old refused to answer any questions or listen to reason last night. Once in his room Ichigo sat on his bed and rubbed his temples,it was frustrating him to no end.
"Hows it goin' King? Havin' trouble in paradise?" Shirosaki snickered at his distress.
Ichigo didn't even bother to answer the voice in his head.
"Ho ho,so ya gonna give me the silent treatment huh King."
It was more of a statement than a question.
"Well I see how it is then,guess I'll just have ta bug ya some other time."
The strawberry looked at the digital clock on his nightstand,he didn't have to go to work till ten. Kenryu had told Ichigo to call out of work because of last night but the strawberry wouldn't hear it. He needed to work to clear his head,to forget about his missing memories of last night and get out of his fathers care,he wanted to get his own place and be out on his own. Ichigo listened as his sisters get ready for school and leave,Ichigo made sure that his father was gone too before he ate some breakfast and watched TV until it was time for him to get ready for work. He got dressed in a gray polo shirt and black skinny jeans.
It wasn't the best job out there in the whole world but Ichigo enjoyed it and all of his co-workers,but sometimes his boss would creep him out. Someone with a murderous intent in their eyes,you'd never believe that he was the owner of such an establishment. He glanced at the clock and rushed out because his useless thinking was going to make him late.

He was rubbing the chihuahua's belly now.
"Ichigo hurry up with that dog chow. Kaien quit playin with the huskies and get the water for these dogs."
Ichigo smiled,he really loved his job and seeing the enigma before him because if he didn't know Kenpachi and would have seen him on the streets he would have never guessed he was so caring towards animals.

It was two in the afternoon and Ichigo was recently taking care of the cats the store owned. He sighed,the strawberry was pretty tired by now,after helping Kenpachi with the dogs he was dismissed and told to help Nnoitra with the reptiles. The stick of a man had slid a harmless garden snake down his shirt,the slithering of the reptile causing Ichigo to do weird dances that kids would do and screeching for the man to get it out. But all Nnoitra did was laugh his ass off till tears ran down his cheeks. Thankfully Urahara,one of the managers,came to Ichigo's rescue and scolded Nnoitra saying that next time he wouldn't let it slide.
Next time Nnoitra would be face with Kenpachi for endangering one of the animals. Ichigo opened one of the cages of the cats taking out a black and blue eyed kitten. The strawberry smiled softly as the kitten purred while Ichigo pet her.

"W-Well I'll go get a cage for this little one. You can go to the cash register." Ichigo turned on his heels and walked as fast as he could away from the attractive man.
"Hanataro I need a cage for this girl. She's getting a home."
