Ichigo's POV
I yawned softly moving my way back home at a slow pace, thinking about what happened today, all of what had went on seemed like a fairytale; it was weird when Nova teleported himself and Azami out of Urahara's shop, but…Urahara apparently found them.
Nova had just returned when he had gotten about a block away from the shop, he was blushing furiously and wouldn't stop no matter how much Lilian tried to make him.
I shook my head, my orange strands of hair falling slightly in front of my vision; I stopped in my tracks, my breath hitched in my throat as I looked at the sidewalk in front of my house, that girl was laying there.
Cautiously, I approached, looking her over; I found she was bleeding from her feet, knees, and the side of her head. Had she ran from something, did she collapse here from exhaustion and hit her head? I didn't know all I could think about was helping her.
I lifted Azami into my arms; she was amazingly light compared to Rukia. Heaving my schoolbag over my shoulder, I carried her into the clinic and was greeted with my idiot father attempting to surprise me with an attack, “not now, dad.” My voice was stern enough to force him to stop, I dropped my bag on the floor by the door and turned around; I looked toward him as if pleading him to help, Azami's blood was continuing to flow at a generous amount, the blood pooling slightly on the wooden floor.
“Karin, Yuzu! Come here!” Had been what my father said as he scooped Azami from my arms. I didn't want to leave her side, not in the least. But I had no choice when my sisters ran down and pushed me out of their way, “Onii-chan, supper's still on the table, go eat, we'll bandage her up in no time!” Yuzu said in an attempt to calm the suffering she saw on my face, why was I feeling like this? I only just met Azami, but…it felt natural to worry over her like this; just like I had felt with Rukia.
I sighed softly, not really hungry at the moment. I began pacing the hall like my father usually did when he was thinking something over, five steps to the left and I turned. Five steps to the right, and I turned.
I repeated this over and over again, thinking about what could happen. I didn't want her hurt, not ever. I felt a sharp pang in my abdomen, and a hollow reiatsu flowing from my own body; I growled at the fact that he was trying to take control again. I couldn't let him do this, not now. I won't let him do this!
`Ichigo, why do you stop me from coming out, eh? Do you not think that I deserve a little play time? Do I not deserve to touch that flesh like you do?' I growled mentally at Shirosaki and was graced with that insane laugh of his, though his reiatsu died down and the pain in my abdomen stopped; god I was becoming annoyed with that, sure he came when I was scared to die, but randomly?! That was just too much!
I growled under my breath as I heard Yuzu's faint voice telling Azami that she couldn't move just yet, I kicked off my heel, my shoe flying off and hitting the wall behind me as I ran toward the room they had her in at the moment; I came to a stop at the doorway, looking her over, she was bandaged up nicely and a sigh left my lips. At least she wasn't going to die of blood loss, which was what I had been worried about.
“Azami-chan, you should lay down” I said softly, and was graced with a light elbow to my stomach.
“Who gave you permission to call me Azami? You'll call me Kirotsuchi-san, until I say otherwise!” I heard her voice meekly; there was a slight flare of reiatsu as she had gotten overly worked up.
She almost fell down the few steps to the floor, my arm shot out to wrap around her waist and pull her from her slight doom of falling; I moved my arm slightly wrapping my hand about her wrist, sending her one of my death glares which usually made people shut up and do what I say.
I was graced with her grimacing as she let me lead her up the larger portion of stairs to the bedrooms, turning into the first doorway, I let go of her wrist and shoved her to the bed. She shot me a death glare as she tripped over Kon and landed face first on the mattress, I couldn't help but chuckle at Kon's squeak of displeasure.
“Until you're able to move around better, you rest here; just stomp on him if he gives you any trouble” I stated as I left the room, closing the door behind me.
