Azami's POV

I opened my eyes, they hurt, my head hurt, and I had a strong sense that a relief specialist had healed me. I looked over toward my left and noticed that Abarai Renji was sleeping on the floor, a slight line of drool left his mouth to run down his chin; I wanted to reach out and smack him to wake him up, but decided not to.

I heard a slight hum of someone clearing their throat and I sat up still slightly in pain, looking around I saw that familiar head of orange hair; I stared at him for a moment before he looked up at me, a slight relieved expression on his face.

I noticed it was light outside, and looked questioningly around for a clock, I didn't find one.

“It's eight o'clock,” I heard another voice say, I whirled around much to the discomfort of my pounding head, I looked toward the owner of the voice and found Shuuhei Hisagi seated upon a mat in the back.

“Fuku-taichou Hisagi…” I breathed out, I hadn't seen him since my last day in Soul Society; the day I had been assigned to come to Karakura Town.

That day, had been amazing to say the least. He had spent the entire day with me, telling me about himself, and what specific meaning his markings had. I smiled slightly remembering that, and then I squeaked, a shocked look on my face as the sleeping Renji grabbed a-hold of me and pulled me against his frame like I was some sort of plushy.

I squirmed uncomfortably, and it took the combined strength of Ichigo, Hisagi, and Tessai to pull me loose from the death-grip Renji had on me. I blinked as I felt the fluctuation of reiatsu, and saw the appearance of Nova.

“Urahara-san, will she be going to school today?” I heard Nova ask, and I watched Urahara Kisuke shake his head in a “no” fashion. I watched the orange haired boy stand and move to the door, “I'm going home for a few hours, so not to worry Yuzu.”

Upon Kisuke's nod, the orange haired boy left; I had yet to learn his name, and a sigh left my lips. Pretty soon there was no one in the room except the sleeping Renji, and the silent Hisagi.

Nova had just disappeared from sight, and I looked up to watch the wall; a small sigh leaving my lips, that the only sound that I heard, aside from Renji's light snoring.
